Whether you’re at your desk, travelling, in need of a moment to reset during a busy day, or looking for a more accessible way to move, this practice offers release while also giving you a gentle energy boost. All you need is a sturdy chair — no mat, no special clothing, just a willingness to pause and reconnect.
We'll begin with Box Breathing to steady the breath, calm the nervous system, and bring you into a state of focused presence. From there, we'll move through poses and gentle movements that release tension in the jaw, neck, and shoulders — areas where stress often hides. Backbends and twists will help open the chest and ribcage, encouraging deeper, more spacious breathing. Forward bends will target the upper and lower back, neck, and hamstrings, inviting deep relaxation. José will also guide you through soft, nourishing movements to mobilize the hips and spine — perfect if you’ve been sitting for a while.
As always, José offers variations for each pose, allowing you to respect your body’s possibilities and move in a way that feels effective, beneficial, and nourishing.
