Hi Agata! The flowers I used are nasturtium and calendula flowers. You can use others as well though - such as daisies, pansies... anything edible & organic is fine. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for your comment, Sridevi! Glad you're enjoying the recipe. You're totally right about the gomasio - it does have a yang quality indeed. I mentioned at the beginning of video that salt has a yang quality but forgot to mention that sesame seeds are warming as well. If you'd like to have a completely yin salad - you can easily leave out the gomasio and substitute the black olives for green olives. My intention was to create a not so overly yin salad, but invite a tiny bit of yang for balance. And taste. ;-)

Thank you Irina for nice cooling salad recipe. Edible flowers looked so pretty on the salad. Sesame powder is yang quality as it produces heat.
