A yoga and movement sequence focusing on spinal twists in many forms. There will be standing, seated and lying twists, balanced with some shaking and lengthening in between. This is a fun - and occasionally challenging - practice to leave us all feeling like a spiritual James Bond (who famously drank martinis 'shaken, not stirred’), ready to emanate spinal energy from the root to the crown, and deal with life’s twists and turns.

Lovely. After days of no energy and close to zero activity this was perfect. I would not say that being shaken and/or stirred is something I go for, in general. Then again it can be very beneficial to shake things up, from time to time and even a bit of stirring can have that effect, right? My spine has a life of its own and we don't always agree on how things should be done. One day perhaps I will be able to understand what it is trying to tell me, if anything. In the meantime, stagnation in any and all forms has proved to be a bad thing. So, while rest is required and pushing must be administered carefully a bit of shaking and stirring has (once again) proved to be useful.
