Hi Veronique, thank your for your nice classes. I practiced this one and back healthy class. I have some problems with back, shouder and neck when I sit down for breathing or centering before practicing asanas. I have a tension along spine, lower back hurt and face as well. I have practiced yoga for some years but always fail. Can you show me how to do strongly in meditation pose? I think I did turn inward, listened to my body. I also try not to lengthen spine over only lift chest up and roll shoulder but no free. Namaste,

Dear Thuy. I'm sorry to hear about the pains you experience. I would suggest you go to a medical practitioner to identify the cause of these pains first and see what movements you should avoid. If s/he says it is ok to do asanas now, you can start with centering standing and then sit on a chair for meditation. If you practice asanas, do so carefully, mindfully and if any move causes pain, come out of the pose. Please let me know how it is going. Take care of yourself.

Hi Thuy, I hope the tension in your back and face is gone. Have you tried meditation on a chair? Is it better than sitting on the mat? Namaste

Hi Jackie, that's great. I had neck issues for years and know how painful and 'draining' it can be...
Veronique06.10.2014
You are all welcome. Viviane, sorry for the late reply.. Can you check if you keep the elbows shoulder width apart. If your elbows goes to the sides, you will tend to collapse and put too much pressure on your neck. Let me know if it doesn't!
