A follow up Yin Sequence by request after my first Quiet acceptance class. This simple but powerful session comprises four poses, which move the spine in four directions, with minimal talking and maximum introspection. With side bends, Supported forward Butterfly and Supported Reclined Butterfly.
Please gather all your props – a bolster or some firm cushions, blankets and blocks – and get ready for a 'me-time' treat!

So simple, yet so powerful. Thanks for the silence, just what I needed. Namasté.

Thank you so much for this simple yet profound experience. I can't believe this only lasted 40 minutes in Earth time. I substituted the initial side bend for a Bananasana, a more gentle option for my particular body today. Always a pleasure practicing with you David. Til next time!

Thank you for the chance to be introspective, David. Still hearing the sounds of silence. Namaste.

in reply to Kirsty - thank you that is good too. What I meant was for each pose David had a little acceptance mantra that felt to build - I guess I should just repeat the class! No hardship there !

Thank you dear David, this was again so deeply touching and quietly reminding me, small funny thing happened, in one asana I started to sing in mindthe "sound of silence" song before you even grapped the guitar ...

Just what I needed thank you. Could someone please be so kind as to reply with each of the 4 acceptance mantras ? What was said was precious.
Kirsty07.10.2025
HI Samantha, are you referring to the start of the class? If so, this is what David said: This moment is like this.
Whatever is going on in your life is whatever is going on in your life.
Neither joy nor sorrow stay; neither pain nor comfort are permanent.

The sooner we’re able to accept the present moment as it is, the less suffering we’ll have to endure

The more we are able to accept our responsibilities, and the more we are able to accept our roles in the world, the easier and more fluid life can become. Let me know if this is what you mean. Warmly, Kirsty from the EY team.
