Would you like to deeply relax, gain inner awareness and remove unwanted habits and tendencies? Then this Yoga Nidra class is for you. In this tantric practice, you will deeply relax into a state between external awareness (consciousness) and sleep (unconsciousness). You will bypass the intellectual mind and tap into a deeper consciousness. Being in this state allows you to direct the mind to accomplish anything, receive intuition, inspiration and discoveries - which all comes from your true self.
Whether this practice alone can give you all of this, it's difficult to say! But be open and try not to fall asleep while following the instructions given. (Not falling asleep is also a practice, so it may take some time!) Make sure you are comfortable lying on the floor and dressed warmly enough.
I am just beginning to offer Yoga Nidra so I'm curious to hear your comments. I hope you enjoy it.

I enjoyed the different areas we focused on - especially the feelings. I noticed that it was much easier for me to feel sadness than joy even though I had a very vivid memory of a joyful moment that happened just a few days ago. The pace at which you lead us through the body parts was a tad fast for me. I had less time for body awareness because I was hurryin to catch up :)

Hi José thank you for this practice. I experienced it as very relaxing. I had a headache before it and now it's mostly gone, better than medecine! For me it would be even more relaxing and grounding if you paused more between the sentences you say in the beginning of the practice, especially with the smelling & hearing and with the sankalpa. For the bodyscan and all after it was good for me. Namasté Joëlle

That’s the first time that I’ve tried yoga nidra, and it was a curious experience and exercise in awareness. I liked how your instructions came rhythmically and not too slow, my mind could stay active and not drift away. I feel really rested and refreshed! Geweldig goede stem en uitstekende timing! Herhalingen bijzonder effectief. Van rots abrupt naar veer was voor mij te groot; ik ga via het gras of water ... Da-aag - zal je YinYoga classes zoeken! GJ.
