In this Yin-Yang yoga class, José guides you through a beginner-friendly practice that invites you to let go of the need to be flexible or to fit any picture-perfect pose. Instead, you’ll be supported in cultivating acceptance, inner awareness, and compassion – connecting with your body as it is, without comparison or external pressure.
The class begins with breath awareness, either seated comfortably or lying down, helping you turn inward and notice how you feel. From there, José guides you through spinal and shoulder movements to support mobility and lubrication. You’ll then move into Yang poses to strengthen the back, core, and legs, encouraging stability and grounding. As the class continues, you’ll open the hips and stretch the legs – areas that often become tight or restricted due to long hours of sitting. Finally you’ll shift into Yin yoga, where you’re invited to slow down, listen closely, and explore your personal edge, without forcing or pushing. 
Throughout the class, José offers variations for each pose, encouraging you to attune them to your body’s possibilities and move in a way that feels effective, nourishing, and non-harmful. This class isn’t just about becoming more flexible – it’s about becoming more aware, kind, and connected to yourself.
