Here we work down the lower leg from the back of the knee with the black ball. This sequence gets into the body of the calf muscle but also works the middle hamstring again. Intense and deep. If it's too much deflate your ball a little to soften it.

Where can one get such black ball?
Martha27.01.2016
I am in the US. Thank you for the info Nichi.
Nichi22.01.2016
Hi Martha. If you are in UK you can get one from me. Email me at info@theyogaspace.co.uk If you are in Europe go to yamuna body rolling Europe. Outside Europe got to Yamuna USA

I have my black ball quite soft, but boy could I feel the difference in the way my feet lay on the ground afterward. Really cool!
Nichi22.01.2016
Yes it really makes a difference in the feet! I love this sequence for that. Shins coming up and wow that really does it. Namaste

I have incredibly tight calves which restricts a lot of my yoga. I've been doing a lot of hamstring work and although I know they're all linked I feel the tightness is more down the back of my calves as opposed to my hamstrings? Is this a good class for me to follow?
Nichi18.08.2017
Hi Amanda yes this will be a very good class for you to do. I would recommend rolling the hamstrings first though and then finishing by rolling up the spine. Let me know how you get on. Please also ensure that you only use the Yamuna balls ?

Hello Nichi! Feet under or up on toes for this routine? Thank you.

Today I woke up and my calves felt super tight and heavy - probably because of too much running & not enough stretching lately. This class helped me un-knot my tight calves. And the class was quick enough that I had time to squeeze it in with my regular workout, too. Thank you!
