@ Nancy: if this class is too much for your hands and wrists now, try my other class for the wrists via this link http://www.ekhartyoga.com/video/healing-the-wrists-elbows-and-shoulders-with-yoga. See if that will work better for you in building up strength so you can progress more safely.

You saved me! Thank you Sandra, I had serious pain in my wrists, and know I DON'T HAVE ANY PAIN ANYMORE :) I am feeling Blud pulsing through parts of my wrists I didn't knew they would exist! Namaste!

Thank you for this eye-opening class, Sandra. I never realized how much I've been neglecting my hands and wrists. They may be the weakest and least flexible part of my body.

Hi! I have pretty sore wrists most days as I knit probably more than I should, and my job strains them frequently. I do stretches often, but my question about this practice is how can putting weight on the wrists open them/relieve strain? Downward dog and plank are usually the poses that hurt my wrists the most, and I couldn't even sit in the last one led alone lift my rear up. Ouch! I'm confused. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

This was amazing and really intense for me, so I'll keep coming back to it. Thank you Sandra for bringing awareness to body parts that we usually neglect .
Melinda25.03.2014
Wow, more intense than you might think from that title/description; I had to back off of a couple of poses which is an indication that I need this class! I enjoyed this and will do it again; thanks!

Hi, Sandra. I'm a metalsmith and writer and really need some wrist and hand strengthening moves. This helped me, but I couldn't come close to doing a plank on my fingertips. As Kelli mentioned, the plank and down dog positions are the ones that hurt my wrists most. I await insights on these exercises that tend to hurt already and how we can work up strength to do them correctly. Thank you!

This class is super helpful for me, Sandra. Thank you so much! I love that it's strengthening and soothing for my wrists but is also a complete practise in itself. (As others mentioned, I had to back out of some of the poses but that's okay - I'm taking that as an opportunity to notice what's happening in my body and respecting my limits!)
Sandra21.08.2017
Hi Kat, terrific! That is good yoga in my book :) You are so invited to explore and leave out the poses/movement/duration that don't work for you! Namasté

Thank you Sandra! I will be adding this to my ‘Shoulders’ playlist, to support my rotator cuff injury recovery. I’ve been experiencing stiffness in my wrists and pain in my hands and elbows, that I’m assuming are related to the shoulder issues. This class has already helped me to feel stronger and I will be taking what I’ve learnt into my general yoga practise. Will definitely be coming back to this class.

Dear Cathleen, that is so wonderful to read! It's so important to find the hacks and tricks that help us align and get stronger when we are suffering injuries! Nothing makes me happier to read than this, thank you so much and I wish you a speedy healing and improvement!
