Thank you, Mackenzie, for this wonderful class. I injured my right shoulder a few years ago while trying out a jacket in the store. It has slowly healed over time but I am always scared of using those muscles. Thank you for the step-by-steps to warm up and strengthen the wrists and shoulders. It's liberating to feel the range of motion in the shoulder area again.

Perfect! I fell off a ladder last week and went to PT, but this was great! Thank you.

Thank you, very useful informations :)

What a wonderful class. I have troubles with strained muscles in my shoulder and neck. I think these stretches will definitely help me to prevent the injuries.

Good to take the time to pay attention to these areas and good to have a full class to make sure I do - thanks
Viviane18.08.2014

Am so used to (over) stretching other areas of the body that I noticed I had been neglecting my shoulders & wrists. I enjoy MacKensie's style & the way she interacts with the viewers.

This is the next class for me. I've injured right shoulder during a couple so car accidents and whenever I practice yoga for 5 days straight i develope shoulder pain. I was looking for something to over come this so I can maintain a regular practice. Wish me luck.

Excellent class Mackenzie, as I have a stiff shoulder (injury) and had carpel tunnel, so these poses are fantastic, but hard as well. I will put this video on favourite so I will get more flexibility back. Thank you.
Alexis20.08.2014
I loved this class. It felt so good to work my wrists! Thank you.
Kristin08.09.2014
VEry good exercises for my stiff shoulder(s), especially on the right side. This stiffness is an obstacle in many situations, and I am not able to stand in a bridge. The muscle on the back of humerus is also short. I am grateful for this session, and I'll include it in my daily practice, hoping to increase mobility in my right shoulder! Thank you! From Kristin

Vera, Thank you! This class is like a PT session for your shoulders/wrists! :) Hope you're feeling better after your fall!
MacKenzie19.11.2014
Maria, When you take the class let me know what you think!! :)
MacKenzie19.11.2014
Claire, Numbness and tingling are often signs of poor circulation in a pose. You may be impinging a major artery/vein while in a stretch. This isn't going to cause immediate damage but overtime is not recommended. Have an experience yoga instructor watch you in the stretch to provide feedback or suggestions of how you could set yourself up differently.
MacKenzie19.11.2014
Paula, Glad that you found this practice useful for your tight shoulders and sensitive wrists! :)
MacKenzie24.09.2014
Anne, Preventative care is so important especially for the weaker/tighter/neglected parts of our body! Thanks for taking class!
MacKenzie24.09.2014
Kristin, Yes! Indeed the more you practice this it will be like therapy for your shoulders! Hope that you make considerable progress!! :)
MacKenzie24.09.2014
Annemarieke, This type of wrist work is so important!! Especially if you have carpel tunnel and stiffness in your shoulders! The more you practice it the better it'll feel!! Look forward to hearing about your progress!
MacKenzie24.09.2014
Alexis, Wrist work should feel good! Glad it worked!! :)
MacKenzie24.09.2014

@Daniella, I am so happy to hear this class helped increase the range of motion in your injured shoulder. It should work like PT! Keep it up and one day you won't have to guard that shoulder. <3

Ilse24.08.2015
I am always looking for stretches to ease shoulders and wrists since I have carpal tunnel syndrome and my shoulders also tense up easily, so this is great! Thank you, it is very helpful!
MacKenzie14.12.2015
Ilse, You are very welcome. Taking care of your body is so important. :) Thank you.
Paula29.09.2014
This helped a lot. I often concentrate on flexability in the lower body and strength in my upper body, so my shoulders are a bit tight and my wrists are very sensitive. Those parts feel great after this practice, thank you very much!
Clarence12.11.2014
Thank you for the therapeutic practice MacKenzie. Question: if I feel numbness and tingling in my arms while in a stretching pose (not pain though), is that a sign to come out of it or should I stay and breathe through it?
Alexandria01.05.2020
Amazing! A practice I was hesitant to try, and was exactly the practice my body needed today. Namaste MacKenzie
Zeynep14.12.2015
Here we go! I have an endless knot on my right side for almost 2,5 months. And this practice made me feel very comfortable. I think I should do it at least once a week. Thank you so much.
MacKenzie14.12.2015
Zeynep, Consistency is key when trying to change something in your body. Keep up the good work. Thank you!
Galyna28.02.2018
Excellent class!! I am glad I found it, will definitely repeat it again!!! Thanks so much ❤️
Rachel26.08.2017
Thank you Mackenzie, this is a wonderful session. I'm currently struggling with a rotator cuff injury and will try to do this session a few times weekly. Only pose I couldn't relax into was the last one via bridge, my left shoulder will not allow me to clasp my hands together once in bridge, I used a strap and just took it very gently. I'm hoping one day to be able to clasp hands together again in bridge. Thank you.
MacKenzie06.09.2017
Rachel, I have some other therapeutic shoulder classes too! They may be worth checking out. :) Move slowly and listen to your body. It will heal itself if you give it the proper TLC. Thanks for practicing with me.
