Some inverted poses are very energising and a great way to start your day! If you have been practicing for a while and are comfortable with handstands, you could even use them as a warm up. Allow this practice to waken up your body and mind in a playful manner. If you’re not familiar with the inversions you could replace the handstand for downward facing dog and forearm stand with dolphin pose. You can keep the feet down in headstand and do bridge pose instead of shoulder stand.

Thank you so much! I found this a real break through on my headstand- found my core strength and balance by lowering each leg at a time, I haven't approached it this way before, and will be doing it every time like this now xx
