Mantras help us to stay focused and become calm and peaceful. In this short meditation, we'll repeat the mantra, "Teyata, Gate Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha" 108 times. Don't worry about counting the mantra, you'll be guided all the way. This mantra literally translates as "gone, gone, gone far beyond to the awakened state" and helps us to be generous, patient, conscientious, diligent, focused and wise.

I need to make myself a flash card for this one. I'll get the hang of it sooner or later! I loved your other mantra video & was so excited to see a new one. More, more :) Thank you.

Thank you Irina. Having never chanted before it took me a while to get used to hearing my own voice especially as I kept getting the mantra wrong! It was very helpful to have you guide me throughout it. By the last half I think I was getting the hang of it and really enjoyed the peace and clarity of mind it brought me. I think you have converted me and I'll be adding this to my favourites!

Hello Irina, I enjoyed this class, although it is not my first time to follow it as it took a quite while to learn. My son bought me some beautiful mala beads from a temple in China. At first I didn't know anything about them, but I can now use them to count my chants or breaths and it Is a lovely grounding way to focus our attention during meditation. Thank you for sharing this beautiful class and practice. Namaste

Thank you Irina, you have inspired me to use my mala beads while chanting and to do more chanting while sitting still.

Thank you, Irina. Very helpful🙏🏼🙂💚
Tatiana27.05.2020
Why does this mantra help us to be generous, patient, conscientious, diligent, focused and wise? Thank you 🙏🏼☺️💚
Irina28.05.2020
Hi Tatiana! Thanks for asking. According to yogic philosophy, the vibrations from mantras have the power to rearrange your molecular structure. Each sound has a distinct vibration, and as a result, each mantra has a different effect. And this specific mantra has the above mentioned effect. x
