Sustenance

Thanks Katy! I did this as a morning practice, which seems a little backwards I guess, but it was one of those mornings when I awoke but wasn't "awake" or energized enough for a regular practice. I've also been dealing with some anxiety too, so this was a perfect way to transition from sleep into my day...calm, centered, and refreshed. I'm always amazed at your teaching versatility and the variety in your classes. So happy you're on Ekhart! It's always a treat to practice with you.

This is a delicious practice, thank you! However, I have no “forward” in the bodakonasana pose (even sitting on blankets) so substituted supta bodakonasana which is different but was what I could come up with at the time...? Namaste.

Thank you SO much. That was sweet and delicious. So deeply grounding, relaxing, light and meditative. I love Ekhart Yoga! And I actively seek out your classes, you are one of my faves :-) There are relatively few true restorative classes on this site, and I am thrilled to see that you added this class. A class that I have saved in my favorites and will come back to many times. I love that there is a variety of postures to invite in relaxation in many parts of the body, and aside from switching from one posture to another, there is no movement. My body and nervous system thank you as I head off to sweet bed for some sweet sleep.

Its true what Carole said that its difficult to find an "only restorative" class, I myself tend to morph into a Yin "stretch" in Restorative classes, so this was an excellent reminder to just let go. Thank you Katy.

Thank you so much, Katy! Needed the extra rest after getting back into the groove of life a bit more this week. To break out of the 'bubble' I've lived in the past 1,5 year is nice and also somewhat exhausting! :-)
