If you experience stiffness, a lack of strength, and want to maintain healthy joint function in the hips and knees, then this class is for you. In this Yin-Yang practice, José guides you through a dynamic and replenishing sequence designed to mobilise, strengthen, and lubricate the hips and knees.
We'll begin with a Yang flow – a dynamic sequence that strengthens the muscles of the legs and hips while enhancing balance, stamina, and mobility. This continuous, mindful movement (rather than static holds), encourages joint lubrication, builds strength, and improves circulation and body awareness.
From there, the practice shifts to the Yin portion, where José will guide you into long-held poses to open the hips, quads, inner thighs, glutes, hamstrings, back, and chest. These poses give you space to release tension, surrender, and support joint health. We’ll finish with a deeply nourishing Savasana, allowing your body to absorb the full benefits of the practice. Throughout the class, José offers variations for each pose, allowing you to explore how your body moves and releases best.
