Hi Maria, try to move your forearm away from you, elbow right under the shoulder and forearm slightly to the side (but away from your body, not into your body), give that a try and see how it feels.

This practice made me really focus on my core in the standing postures which I don't always do, and the side lifts were a great way of engaging those particular muscles. I have a inkling I will feel this tomorrow! Thank you Adela!

Hi, Adela. Thank you for this practice. I have a question about the side planks - my foreams do not lie flat on the mat and when I lift, I feel all of the pressure just going into my elbow. How can I modify this so that I am actually using all of my forearm? Thanks! Daniella

I think I solved the problem! My elbow was very far away, so it wasn't directly under my shoulder. I also doubled my mat and put moved my hand like you suggested and it was much better. Thank you! -Daniella

Hi Nanette, You can try a couple of things, first, try to move the lower arm to the right more, elbow under the shoulder and hand pointing let's say at 2 o'clock. If this still does not work, place a blanket or a folder sticky mat under the elbow so that the weight moves more evenly to the forearm.. Let me know if this helps.

Hello, Several times' on different days now' I wanted to follow the ´´strengthening the core lessons'´ . There is a bug there: i.e. At intervals of two to five seconds the sound and the images are arrested for seconds, restarting for another few seconds, and so on indefinitely. Impossible to follow. I checked other sites and it looks as if this only happens on your site. So it's nothing on my device. Would you kindly see what can be done about this. Have other users mentioned the same bug? Thank you for looking into it and advise us

Thanks for this Adela. I'm not a beginner and until recently was a regular gym goer where I did frequent core workouts. I thought this would be fairly easy but I found it challenging and as the day progressed I have been feeling the muscle ache round my middle develop! I obviously need to work on my core more and will be repeating this class quite a lot in the coming weeks :)

Hello Selin, if you feel you need to stretch the abdomen after this class you could do a supported bridge pose, with a block under the tailbone and the legs stretched

Hi Debbie, thank you for your feedback, try starting with the classes on the legs in this program, do them a few times, also, you might want to do another few classes working on standing poses too, after that, try doing this video again, just do the best to your capacity and I'd say that with once or twice a week you should start seeing a difference.

I really enjoyed this practice. I look forward to checking out more. I have a question about the plank set up. In particular the hand placement. My wrists always kill me in plank, I found this method to be much easier on my wrists, is that the intention? I always thought "wrists under shoulders." Your set up felt so much better. Thanks!

Hi Nina, you can do a bit or a warming up if you'd like. Although to work the core muscles is not completely necessary, but, every body is different and has different needs do if you feel like you needed a warm up, then, you probably do ;))

A good simple class that does exactly what it says on the box : strengthening the core. I agree that the cues aren't always clear if we can't watch the screen at the same time. But once you've done the class once, you know what you're doing and it's not an issue anymore.

When you are using cues like 'here', 'there', 'like this', it becomes very difficult to follow for me because I have to keep on looking at the screen. It would work better if the cues were more specific using body parts and directions
