Dear Esther, thank you for this very nice class. I wonder why it is important to keep that lower back a bit hollow in happy baby? It would also feel okay to press the whole lower back into the floor - I tested both ways...

Hi Kiki, Glad to hear you liked the class. You can do both ways, depending on what has gone before you make the choice of more of a forward bend (back pressed down) or neutral spine, which can be nice at the end of the class or after another forward bend.

Hi Esther, my body feels nimble after the session. Thank you. I do have a question about poses leading up to Camel. My IT band on both knees experience sharp pain throughout - although it's not happened before. Is that uncommon? - Caroline

Hi Caroline, sharp pain is something to avoid. It can be that you were doing something right before that caused tension and the next time it is fine, or it is something that just doesn't suit your body. Nevertheless whenever you experience sharp pain you stop, and you change what you do so that it feels good again. Hope that helps..
