We begin by accessing the backline of the body through opening the soles of the feet and then have some fun rolling around towards the pose, Janu Sirsasana. Next, we prepare the body for the energising Splits pose / Hanumanasana. Everyone is able to do some variation of this pose, to enjoy the benefits of feeling your legs awake and alive and having plenty of energy afterward. If you work towards something difficult, the best way to approach this is by figuring out what you can do, rather than focusing on what you can't. Splits pose is a great teacher of this for most of us!

Absolutel loved this from start to finish. My legs really appreciated the bouncing in downward dog after the good stretch . ❤️??

Thank you Esther. Hanumanasana is a very daunting pose for me due to tight hamstrings and very tight inner groins. However, I listened to your words about the purpose of the pose, used a double bolster (!) and felt the benefit of trying.
