Thank you MacKenzie. I love sharing my practice with you. This is a really great therapeutic class, and especially if you sit at a computer a lot (:

Thank you, MacKenzie, a very interesting class, lots useful info. I have been experiencing some lower back, side waist issues for quite some time now, also moving down towards and creating quite a bit of discomfort in normally flexible hamstrings. Dealing with this from all sorts of angels. With a rather substantial scoliosis perfect symmetry is not exactly my thing and becoming aware of where to find strength and not so much strength is very useful. Small movements, such as the initial pelvic tilts are very useful as for noticing how the body has found its own way of dealing with movement, which is not always the best, long term. As you were saying, exercising and strengthening the weaker parts makes perfect sense as one does prefer some degree of alignment in body, mind and life :-)

Thank you for sharing your practice with us;) My spine is very weak, especially the upper part, so it was a bit challenging at times. Because my hamstrings are very tight I had to skip Upavishta konasana (I had to look that up;)) and adjust pyramid pose but that´s okay.

Dear MacKenzie many thanks for another great class. I am a 'forward-bending' person :-) so I tend to like to repeat frequently any of your classes that focus on strengthening and conditioning the back of the body especially since this is the area I most need to work on and where I am weakest! This class was very interesting from that point of view. I look forward to each of your new classes as they arrive on the site and I enjoy and appreciate them all. Namaste Cathy XXX

This class really made me realize how weak my spine can be and how I engage the same muscles all the time. In pyramid pose I had a hard time getting my glutes to help out, something I need to focus on more. Thank you Mackenzie for such clear instruction and a gentle pace.

This class is brilliant! I suffer with lower back pain/spasms and a dodgy left knee so these exercises complement fixing those. Wonderful class full of extra knowledge to also help my teaching. Thank you x

Great class! Decided to choose this class because my spine / neck wasn't feeling quite right and it really did the job! Even managed to get rid of a persistant ache I had on one side of my neck. Thanks MacKenzie!

I need some help with the seated straddle. It is hard for me to tilt my pelvis forward more than just upright. In this position. This has been difficult for me ever since childhood. Any modifications I could try? Bending my knees seem to make my back round.
Esther24.12.2017
Sitting up on something and bending your knees, if that doesn't help, basically your job is just to work on the pelvic tilt in this pose, place the hands behind you, don't attempt to bend forward and just feel the tilt in the pelvis, don't push... give it time, hope that helps Kammy..

MacKenzie, I have done your practice a few times, but got busy and forgot to leave a comment, so now taking time to thank you for this wonderful Spring Therapy class. I have been lucky and never had back issues, but I have never taught a class where someone hasn't told me they have lower back problems. I have felt so much stronger in my stance after doing this routine. Many thanks.
