This meditative practice has three chapters. We begin with singing, follow with breathing, and finish with singing.  We sing the Buddhist mantra:
Om Namo Amitabaya
Buddhaya
Dharmaya
Sanghaya

Bringing balance and recognition to the teacher, the teachings and the community of students. The breathing technique is open to all levels of students and suitable for most physical or emotional challenges. It requires the nostrils to be open/unblocked for exhalations, so if you need a tissue, have one nearby. The final round of singing is the same mantra but after the breathing practice you may find it has new impact!

Thank you David. That was great. I loved the combination sing breath sing and enjoyed the breathing with movement; (knew this mantra through Claude Brame, a French mantra singer; though you might enjoy discovering him in case you don't already know him) Thank you! beautiful day to you and everyone at EY!

Glad you enjoyed it! This mantra is a traditional / classic and it is great you knew it already... I just looked at Claude's website... tres magnifique!

love this: "sometimes to find balance we have to loose it" and the balance we find, having wobbled - or worse - is so much deeper; a balance with the earth and with others x

Thank you so much David for this magical moment _/\_ Every time I sing with you I'm amazed by the calming effect it has, but also by this kind of "connecting" effect, I always feel deeply connected with all humans and all living beings after singing with you... I also found the pranayama really great, the arm trick really helped being centered and focus. Thank you, may you be in peace too _/\_

That’s an interesting breathing technique, never tried it before. So nice wrapped in mantra as well, like a gift 🎁 🙏🏻
David08.04.2020
Yes... well, all breathing techniques can be simplified to: In / Out Nose (Right & Left) / Mouth Belly / Middle / Upper Hold In / Hold Out ... then mix them! And yes, the Mantra gift is special too 🙏🏼

Thank you for this beautiful practice. The added movement in the pranayama is new to me as well, but I absolutely loved it! I could really go deeper within my being with the synchronization.

nice words.... "to find balance you sometimes have to loose balance first" that feels so true. we found out the mantra singing is sometimes more intense for us than meditation. that was a very nice combination of singing and breathing. and we always want to learn how to play the guitar once we have shared a mantra singing session with you. Sunny greetings from Regensburg, Christine & Sabine
David27.04.2020
Danke 🙏🏼 ... and good luck with the guitar! 😇
Miek13.05.2020
Thank you David, this session had an energizing effect on me, I felt so empty after the working day and now, hey the sun is here outside and inside. I liked that the breathing was between the mantra signing, what an effect on the signing. Thank you, sunny greetings from Belgium. Ps: love to sign this one once live all together in a group.

I got into the singing part easily (specially the on the second round) , as for the breathing, I personally couldn't focus much on it .... Will try again to see how it goes. NAMASTE DAVID! =)

Hi David, I had a bit of an upsetting day so put this on and listened while doing the ironing. Your music often helps to 'gather my head' and restore equilibrium, feeling more settled but will listen to some more music I think, Thank you Kate Namaste
David23.09.2020
Hello Kate, You are welcome... and thanks for sharing the positive effect of this class & the music. May you be well and keep singing!
