This floor-based practice with gentle stretches and longer holds, is designed to help realign your pelvis and/or sacroiliac joint. The pelvis can be misaligned because of tense muscles which can create an uneven pull on the joints. Besides creating balance in the pelvis, this class can also be used as a cool down or as a gentle evening practice. With Ardha Bhekasana, Reverse Twisted Sleeping Pigeon, Parivartanasana, Supine Thread the Needle and more.

Wow! This was a challenge, but the one that answers that nagging feeling that my left and right sides have not been balanced for a while. Key throughout, as I took my time to explore what my body was feeling, was using my lower abdomen to help stabilize my pelvis, which released the tension on my overworking right side and gave more presence to my left side, from my thigh bones all the way up my spine, and into my shoulders. Thank you, Sandra, I will be back for this as I gauge how the effects are throughout my practice and my everyday movement. Happy New Year, Namaste.

Such a perfect pearl of a class. I love its after effect and your calming guidance throughout the poses. It is beautiful to hold them a bit longer and I felt a huge difference in my pelvis by bringing the focus into specific areas. My walking was much freer after that.
