This class will help you to address some limitations, both in your hips and between the ears, where limitations are often the biggest issue! Change the perspective and breathe, so you can become both aware and relaxed while practicing some gentle hip and hamstring openers. This class will help you to hold a bigger space for yourself, both in body and mind. Ending with a short meditation. With Supta Utthita Hasta Padangustasana, Succirandasana, Ardha Paschimottanasana, and more.

Oh, the mind... the ever-controlling mind! My mind is always going for that 100 percent, reaching for the foot, for the floor. This was so very helpful, Sandra. Thank you!
Sandra12.06.2017
yes, that tricky mind of ours... you can approach it just like a muscle that can be trained. So give yourself time in training your mind too :)
Jenny14.05.2017
Just what I needed and definitely one to repeat. Thank you Sandra x

I had a craving for a Sandra class this morning and this fit the bill perfectly! Making myself aware of the judgements I make on where I should be on a pose was powerful, one of the reasons I appreciate practicing at home is that I tend to push myself in a class. The 70-80% dictum really helps me relax into the pose rather than push. Thank you Sandra
Sandra21.08.2017
Aaah, those are good cravings! And yes, the 70% intensity helps me to stay curious and open to feel my boundary and not push myself over it too :) So helpful!

A class like this should be the introduction to yoga for everyone, but is also key to those who have practiced for years (regularly) and suddenly come upon limitations, be they from accident or changes of life. Then yoga gets to do what it does best: help you our of your boxy head! Just when you think there is no "reward" or "progress" and you despair at "setbacks" or fail to meet the example of some of the more bendy teachers, you ought to remember to change your mind instead of pestering the body! Your work is inspirational, Sandra.

Dear Qui, your words are eloquent and precisely to the point! Love and gratitude _/\_

Hahaha, yes I know, it's kind of like eating a lemon right? At first not so great and you want the sugar, but after a little while, it's soooo good! ;)

For me this was a great lesson in being non-judgmental of myself. As someone with super tight hamstrings I am not able to stretch my legs out in front of me (in any direction) in a seated position and bend forward keeping my back straight. For the first time in years I don't feel bad about that! Thanks so much for this very valuable lesson Sandra. Namaste.
Sandra29.06.2020
Hi Eric, that's great to read! Yoga as a "cirque du soleil" kind of practice is a very one sided way of seeing the practice that is actually not suited for most people that practice yoga. Learning to stay with yourself, getting out of it what you want and being happy with that is what matters. I cannot stress this enough, so I'm very happy to read this!! Love 💕

Been doing everyday in YouTube with Esther in finding resilience video. This is the first time I came to do what Esther been recommended for the members. I enjoyed this so much , felt so relaxed and at ease when I finished. Thank you Sandra for all your advice to not go through the limitations in the poses , I learned for your others video. Now I enjoyed more and can breath eased on the poses and this keeps me motivating me to make yoga a daily practice and not to get into a beautiful pose. Grateful to have all the best mentors in this Ekhart Yoga online & also super grateful to you. Keep safe and keeps well to you and your loved one. Namaste

Beautiful practice! Which allowed me to slow & center from the inside out . Just great stretch feeling. Love it! Thank you Sandra . Namaste
Karen13.05.2017
Thank you Sandra, this was quite a powerful practice for me and I was left with rather different sensations than usual at the end. The concept of going beyond the box and opening, making more space in the mind while actually pulling back from the 100% in the body, was something very valuable for me as I've been working on 'not trying too hard' a struggle I've had all my life :) Thank you again, wonderful practice xxxxx
Sandra16.05.2017
It's a tendency many people seem to have, to work and think everything is supposed to be a struggle. happy for you that you are aware of this in yourself and that you can do something with it!
