I've been looking for classes I can do with a minimum of modification since I broke a toe two weeks ago, and since I haven't wanted to stop doing yoga altogether, I'm always happy to indulge my neck and shoulders, which are always in need of love anyway. Thank you for this class!

Oh, so many days at the computer! There were moments during this class when I said, oh, this is really hard, but now that I'm ready to kick off the day, there's no tension, no pain. Thank you, thank you! Will definitely be coming back to it.

Dear Jennilee, I practice Yoga for long time, and now should do clinics... like this one with head and shoulders etc... I like your personal way to show your yogi experience in asanas. A certain slow motion also put emphasis on the work. I will add again to my yoga journey. T.Y. and namaste

Thank you for this class, Jennilee! I've had a sore and very tight neck the last couple of weeks. Mostly I'd just been ignoring it. (Oops). This class really helped me work those tight and sore muscles and find a greater range of motion and less pain. Thank you!

This was really great! It's nice to focus on particular areas like the neck sometimes as a break from whole body classes...and anyways as you say the neck affects so much else and everything else can affect the neck! Ever since I learned that scalene muscles can trap nerves and cause hand/finger numbness etc I've paid particular attention to releasing my neck tensions etc Good good stuffs and a great class!!!!!!!!! Will be repeating as necessary :)

Hi Jennilee, what a great class! I have experienced neck and shoulder issues for some time and found this to be a great releaser and reliever of tension there. I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I noticed that when I stood up to do the stretches at the wall and in particular those first stretches at the wall to open the chest that I started to feel very weak and lightheaded, almost nauseous. Is this normal and just coming from the depth of the stretch, the amount of tension there? It's not the first time I have experienced this in that particular pose. Any insight you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kerry :)

Kerry:):):) Yes! Sometimes when we release tension from the tissues there can be a wave of relief (sometimes nausea, sometimes lightheadedness, sometimes tears). Thats is why it is so good to work with our breath and move slowly:) Inhales have an upward quality and exhales have a downward quality...let breath guide you always:):):)

I have been having headaches from neck stiffness for three days now and decided to try your yoga session....thank you, thank you, thank you!!! My neck feels lighter and all those knots loosened out and my headache is almost completely gone. Definitely making this routine part of my daily practise as I commonly experience strain in this area.
