Melinda15.06.2017
Thanks for this class. My neck/upper traps are quite sore today so I had to be extra gentle and I wasn't really sure if these were good for me today...? But I'll keep working on them to loosen the area (though rabbit is not in my doable list yet without having to move my head quite a bit farther forward!). Namaste.

Ami26.02.2016
Wonderful streches. I've had problems with my neck for a long time. I'm just wondering about the pain I feel in the back of the neck when I stretch the front - leaning the head backwards with the chin up. It hurts around the last cervical vertebra unless I support the back of my head with my hand. Any ideas on what it could be and is there something I can do about it? Thanks
27.02.2016
Hi Ami, Thank you for your message. I am glad that you enjoyed the session. It would be difficult for me to make an intelligent diagnosis online. I suggest you go see a talented physical therapist or osteopath. Namaste, Clayton.
David20.12.2015
Ah thank you so much man, this is a video i've been waiting for. I too have problems when sitting for meditation because i get so stiff in my neck, shoulders and back. That stiffness just makes the meditation a pain because all i would focus on is that stiffness. Oh an can you please make more videos like this? Perhaps with some shoulder rotation and other neck stretches ? That would be great ! Namaste =) Oh and btw, sometimes stretching and yoga excercises just arent't enough for me, so i also do some massage of the shoulders, neck, face and head. That works rly well in softening the muscles and getting the blood flowing. I use a playlist of 3 videos from youtube, it takes about 20min to do them.
02.01.2016
Hi David - Glad you enjoyed - I will add more - w some massage is good. Namaste, Clayton.
Kat03.06.2017
I know I've commented on this class before, but I wanted to express some additional thanks to you. This is my "go to" class when things are feeling funky in my neck. I pulled some muscles in my neck/shoulder a few weeks ago and I've been doing this class every morning. It's been super helpful, especially when things are very stiff after I wake up. Thank you again!
04.06.2017
Hi Kat, nice to hear- The rabbit pose done slowly and gently may be helpful for you too. All the Best, Clayton
Kat10.05.2016
Thank you for this gentle practice! Today was my first day back to yoga after a neck injury about a week ago. I started out with this before moving on to some more gentle movements for my back. It was a real help!
11.05.2016
Hi Kat, Wonderful- I am glad the class was helpful- Namaste, Clayton.
Libby14.12.2015
Fabulous! I woke up with a stiff neck on the right side, so this class appeared and saved me. We often forget that our daily practice can be affected by little kinks in the body, and this little bit of attention to my neck liberated my spine, and prepared me mentally as well. Thank you
14.12.2015
Hi Libby - Excellent - Glad to hear ;-) Namaste, Clayton.
morgan15.02.2016
Hi Clayton, Great session thank you. You mention weak mid/low back can cause neck issues. How can I strengthen a weak lower back? Side to side stretching is very weak for me, I get spasms in both sides regularly. My necks been problematic for years. Thanks for your time.
16.02.2016
Hi Morgon, tension and muscular imbalances in the back can cause pain in the neck. If you want to strengthen your ;over back, work with Shalabasana: Lie on your stomach, legs together and straight, arms at your sides, hands on the ground, palms turned upwards....lift your legs and your chest, look forward. Hold the pose for 10 ten breaths and repeat.
Donna07.01.2020
