I tried this lesson a long time ago and it was really difficult for me but recently I came back to it and I am enjoying it a lot (although your flexibility + strength + grace is still a distant goal for me). My legs are happy, I am happy :-)
Jill26.06.2020
i appreciated the beauty of the class and did what I could but found it too much for this 62 year old body, thank you David
David02.08.2020
Thanks for sharing Jill. Appreciate you sharing this with me. Definitely modify or perhaps stick with the first option so that it becomes a more therapeutic flow than dynamic. Perhaps even a meditation the element of water :)

Thank you David for this beautiful mobility flow, my soul needed that. Your teaching is very clear and perfect paste! I did need to find some adjustments since my ankles are les flexible, but i do feel my whole body is in motion. Lovely!
David02.08.2020
I am so glad Mira. Yes adjust away. The element of water is about intuition after all. So I'm really glad you honoured your body and adapted just like water :)

Thank you, David. I really appreciated your demonstration of the flow before we started, which inspired me to find ease in my movements.
David02.08.2020
Thanks Hayley. Yes I thought a visual reference would be useful. Not necessarily the shapes, but the embodiment of the elements.

Elisa22.02.2025
I have been tempted by this class for quite a few years now, always wanting to take it and always afraid that it would somehow put me off. I eventually gave it a go today and I am proud of myself for accepting to step out of my comfort zone. I know that your classes, David, have a unique way to invite the body into different shapes and movements and, I must say, it does feel good. With gratitude.
Tcoz03.07.2020
I'll put another thought on this one: because I enjoy the flow so much: I've been practicing it for four days. I've incorporated the Wild Thing, and am working a little on that Crow variation. Doing it all gracefully is good work. So what I do now: I take a 20 min. class, then get back to practicing this for 20-ish. It struck me that originally I was a bit dismissive of the 20 min. classes. But using one as a warmup--which I think I've seen one or two instructors mention--before practicing a pose or flow that interests you, expands the value of the whole program. Not to mention, the 20 min. classes are very good.
David02.08.2020
This is a GREAT tip!!! I recommend warming up with my other series on Daily/Weekly Maintenance! Sets you up very well for stronger load bearing postures.
Thelma07.07.2020
Great advice-will follow suit. :+) T
