Where do your legs actually start and what connects your spine to your legs? Let's find out in this short class which explores what it would feel like to swing your leg from your psoas. You'll need a brick or a sturdy book to stand on.

Thank you Lisa, I enjoyed this.

Tried out the exercise - Found it quite challenging in the standing leg. quite challenging in the hip area of that standing leg. I couldn't believe how grounded I felt in each foot after the exercise. It was a challenge to let the leg move from the Psoas muscle. It was a challenging one for sure.

Hi Lisa I have been following your other Psoas classes and I have found them great.... Just watched this class and I am going to try it myself. Can't wait to discover the experience for myself.

I love this move and then feeling like one leg is standing in a hollow afterwards. But my opposite leg, specifically my hip stabilizers, were on fire. Do you have a Somatice movement to release tension in the adductors?
Silke15.08.2019
Thank you and I will try the whole body re-boot. Sounds amazing!
Lisa15.08.2019
Hi Silke, glad you love this one. You could try a shorter time on the standing leg for starters. I have a hips, legs class in the somatics series which should help address the adductor tension. That's the re-boot the whole body top to toe series if you have n't done it already. Blessings, Lisa

I absolutely loved that, however I feel sleepy is this a side effect?
Lisa03.04.2018
Hi Sydney, sleepy is indeed possible !

Really felt the difference but struggled a bit with the standing leg.
Lisa15.08.2019
Hi Carl. Yes indeed. Try a shorter stay on the standing leg and see how you go. Also be mindful of where you are standing on the foot and how that affects the legs. Try a balanced stance centre of the heel and base of the big and little toes. Let me know how you get on...

Hi Lisa, how are you? I hope you`ll be fine and healthy...fisrt sorry for my written english, I am Maria Jose Nuñez, from Somatics City Yoga, this year, I saw and practice your class longer legs, and it is amazing the sensation from the leg, when you stand up in two legs...I wonder if you find interesting doing this job in people "trauma" only with de"shorten side" o if you always do it bilateral...both sides...thanks for the class, thanks for being there and for your answer...Namaste Maria Jose Nuñez
