Thank you for the insight Irina. Yes, there has been recent instability in my life that I have been trying to power through. I will try the meditation again soon.

Thanks for sharing, Jane! Sometimes the mind can be like that indeed - it happens to me regularly too. If my mind is like that, it sometimes helps to ask myself why it is pingponging like that. Usually, it's because there's something underneath it that I'm avoiding - such as sadness or grief, or annoyance, or fear, or a feeling of unsafety and then trying to hold on to anything my mind throws at me. For me, it's always a relief to find out why my mind is like a ping pong ball, as it helps me to look with compassion at my busy mind, and it helps me to feel into what I actually need in the moment. If you feel like giving this investigation a try for yourself, I'm curious to hear how it goes. For now, sending a warm hug your way.

Your meditation took me away from worrying and fretting, Irina. May well return but for this precious precious moment I rested and breathed into my tight collar bone and released so much mind activity. So important, too to look around and create that safe space before settling deeply into my body. Thank you SO much. What a blessing!
