In this longer than usual class, Julie takes you through a simple warm up to get all the parts connected and then progresses into a strong flow that focuses on our shoulder stability. There'll be a special focus on poses like forearm plank variations, Wild Things/Rock Stars and more.  A strong class that gets you going!

It's an internal photograph, so that you remember this sensation no matter what is coming next – bring this energy into it, and know this is where the practise begins" Oh my goodness, Julie, that class was fantastic and little did you know when you filmed it in the winter and offered those prescient closing words, what was coming next for the world. Wow. Logging on this morning, 2nd day of August on a much needed rainy Sunday morning here in my part of Canada, I was so happy to see a new loooong Julie class. 90 minutes later I feel lengthened and strengthened, grounded and calm. Inner Power and Stability is the right and perfect name for the class. As always, thank you, Julie.

Hi Julie! thanks for the great great class I'm gonna share with my students in France most of your sequence next week I think :) "it's Julie's week!" One question : you say in the beginning when we were sitting crossed legs and falling forward to lift the sitbones up the floor. I think I heard you say that before mentioning that usually we say "stick the sitbones down". Why please is that better to lift them up? Thank you Rose

Hi Rose! So glad you enjoyed the class and are sharing it with your students. The reason for lifting the sitting bones is that you then won't be pulling on the lower vertebrae. If we try to keep the sit bones down and fold forward, especially in the warm-up we're more likely to just put pressure on any vulnerable point on the lower back. If we lift the sit bones then we get more into the hip and thigh muscle to give it a little stretch. Hope that makes sense! With gratitude, Julie
