A grounding meditation focusing on our feet that connect us with the present; the ground we stand on. Trusting our feet is trusting where we are, being in the right place, in the right time. After doing some simple exercises to wake up the soles of our feet, we will sit in a relaxing meditation.

There were many meaningful sentences ("You can trust your feet"...), I found, and it was a nice combination of standing up and doing exercises and sitting down and meditate. It´s difficult for me to trust my feet and especially the ground underneath but it is also important to ground so there is always a strange dichotomy for me. Thank you, Esther!

Fascinating .I had a similar sensation to Elisabetta. At first when we were widening and softening the feet I felt my left side was so much larger than my right and then when we started to release tension/blockages upward through the joints I experienced the sensation of shrinking, like Alice in Wonderland, but as I shrunk my feet grew huge and felt like solid wood.... I will be practising this again with deep interest. Thank you Esther

Very simple but hard to slow down - but so very powerful - now filled with peace and light! Thank-you!

Thanks so much for taken me out of my sitting to meditate, I love to work in Tadasana for grounding and before going into salutations or standing series. Today, taken the tadasana "play moment" to the sit was and aha moment, felt so safe and so connected, easy, not struggles in the sitting meditation, thanks so much Esther Teule! hugs

Yes, letting the body speak can be very insightful!

Thank you for this. Retired and about to take an RV trip around the US. I was a bit nervous about being away from home for an extended period of time. This video is just what I need.

Hi Esther, I am back after a long break. Thanks for the lovely meditation. I wanted to ask you if you have done any videos on facing your fears and releasing them?

This was very good. I have had a very busy day, but I could handle it very well, because I felt grounded and relaxed :)

I love this meditation! Thank you Esther, I will repeat often.

Hi Esther, thanks for this beautiful meditation. I got a clear 'no' on your question: 'can you trust the ground?'. Coming out of depression (which I have sometimes described as 'it is as if I have no ground under my feet') I think this is about learning to trust myself and trust life again. Would you recommend repeating this meditation or do you have other meditations that could help with this? Thank you so much, Irene
Esther25.09.2017
Dear Irene, Esther T is not able to answer right now. If the meditation is really far away from yo and you cannot connect to it at all, best to find a meditation that is closer to you, but if it gives you insight, and you feel because of that it can change you can repeat. I will recommend some more general grounding meditations that might help. https://www.ekhartyoga.com/classes/come-back-to-centre https://www.ekhartyoga.com/classes/find-self-love-in-the-midst-of-a-difficult-situation
