The experience of lightness is related to the fifth element: Air. We will work up to Urdhva Mukha Vrksasana, or Handstand, at the wall. When we are connected to Vayu, or Air, we literally feel like walking on clouds! Air is associated with the expansion of our knowledge, a broadening and deepening of our understanding of ourselves and the world. It releases old beliefs and structures and brings out freshness and clarity. In this class, we will work with the commitment to staying focussed on growth, allowing new possibilies to rise up. Class with Malasana, Eka Pada Adho Mukha Svanasana, Prapandasana, Urdhva Mukha Vrksasana and Kombucha Pranayama.

I'm trying to get up to handstand for a couple of weeks now and really enjoy to see (and practice!) the different approaches every teacher on Ekhart yoga has to offer. This class particularily has brought me an inch closer ;) Thank you Sandra!

Great class, Sandra. I could stay in handstand for 1-2 seconds away from the wall, which is progress :-) And I really liked the build up, when we arrived at handstand I really felt like I had all the components together to do this pose! And pranayama is always great... so: favorite! :-)

hello Sandra, thank you for the wonderful class. I have a question: what can I suggest to a friend that feels dizzy when doing many vinyasas together? is it her low blood pressure? maybe vinyasas are not for her? many thanks

Hi Annabella, dizziness might indicate low blood pressure. Sometimes this is temporary and your friend may simply have to eat something shortly before class. Or she may always have low blood pressure. It would be good to check it out with her doctor. Either way, she can remedie by moving a bit slower in general (not doing all Vinyasas, but only a portion) and/or coming out of the forward bending poses by taking an extra breath. I hope this helps her :)
