This fun yoga set is really effective for boosting your immune system. It will activate your thymus gland and get the lymph system going, which are both fundamental to a well-working immune system.

Ah one of my favourite classes that I have returned to as the winter comes. I have been struggling to get a full breath this evening until I did the shoulder shrug, then something opened up and I could breathe again. I want to try this with my daughter as I can see how it will translate to something fun for children. Thank you so much Marlene. Namaste
Thuy29.12.2015

Marlene29.12.2015

Hi Marlene, Do you recommend this class after sickness too? I had influenza, and recovering seems to take some time now. I think some of your classes would be good support at the moment. I feel like moving, but get tired very easily, so I have to take it slow...
Marlene11.03.2016
Yes, definitely, but take it easy if your still recovering as you say. And if necessary, just press pause if you feel you want to take a deeper rest in between exercises and continue in your own pace. <3
Helena09.01.2016
Lovely, thank you Marlene! Soft but effective :)
Marlene11.01.2016
That is the idea :) <3

Inge01.01.2016
Hi Marlene! Thank you for sharing this kriya. I enjoyed it and am very happy that Ekhart yoga also offers kundalini! How many times do you have to do this kriya to really get the benefits? Thanks!
Marlene02.01.2016
Hi Inge, if you feel strongly it is an issue for you, I would recommend daily practice for 40 days. At that time you will have reached full intergration of this set into your system. If it is more maintenance, 2 or 3 times per week would be enough. Every body is different and so one session could already create a shift, but for others a couple of times is needed to feel the benefits. ❤️ Marlene

Lovely class, and your voice is so soothing and relaxed. I often use Kundalini warm up poses in my yoga practice as they really weak up the spine and body. Thank you.
Marlene11.01.2016
Happy you enjoyed the class! And like you say it is great to mix and match with other type of practice if it is not to intense for you. <3
Christina30.01.2016
Different than my usually morning yoga but very effective! Added it to my favorites!
Marlene30.01.2016

Erika20.12.2018
Thanks Marlene, beautiful class I have included in my winter collection and is just perfect after pranayama and meditation, I realised I did not thank you before (I have done this class before) so today want to thank you for all those mornings of a good start, that this class has given to me... also planning to add some of this to my last class of the year....
Jo01.10.2017
As the nights draw in and the temperatures drop, it seemed a good time to try this practice. Still feel "buzzy" ten minutes later and ready for the day. Also shaking around made me smile which is always good! Thank you Marlene
Nan08.02.2016
What a wonderful practice, Marlene. I haven't experienced an entire practice done this way, something different for me, and I loved it. I feel energized all over, also happy and relaxed. I was laughing while doing the hip movements. A sweet practice going into my favorites.
Marlene09.02.2016
Hi Nancy! Isn't it quite different ? So happy you liked it. And I hope you'll try the other classes too :) <3
Gael20.01.2016
Hi marlene , i have been doing this class every morning, i am suffering from a syndrom of white fingers when it s cold (no blood in the extremities feet and hands) and the wrist shake is just MAGIC. It was very cold outside and i didn t get white fingers! Just the feet! Shall i also shake my feet? Many thanks for this great class
Marlene20.01.2016
Hi Gael, I am so happy for you! Actually, I would suggest to stomp your feet on the floor rhythmically (while keeping the knees slightly bent), as it is quite difficult to shake the feet to the same extend. This will really get the circulation going in the feet. See if this works for you! <3 Marlene
Debra01.01.2016
Thank you a perfect practice for a snowy Canadian New Years day.
Marlene02.01.2016
Happy you enjoyed it!
Amanda19.02.2016
Lovely class, thank you! Could I alternate this class with the 'clarity, memory and vitality' class?
Marlene22.02.2016
Hi Amanda! Yes you can! However, don't do more than 3,4 kundalini sets per week, since they are quite intense. ❤️
Ilse11.01.2016
Wonderful, in the morning I feel like I am sparkling now! xxx
Marlene11.01.2016
Shine on! X

Cecilia03.01.2016
Thanks Marlene for this energetic practise. How often would you recommend myself to do this, I live on Australia where we are in summer
Marlene04.01.2016
Hi Cecilia, we just mentioned winter because it's the flue season here in the Northern hemisphere. But you can practice it any time. If you feel that immunity is an issue for you, I would recommend a daily practice for 40 days. Otherwise you can practice this 2 or 3 times per week as long as you need. If you have any more questions, let me know :) Namaste!
Rachael20.10.2016
I have a daughter in preschool, so any immunity booster is very much welcomed into my life :) I really enjoyed the thumping. Thank you!
Marlene25.10.2016
Good, this one you can practice also on a daily basis for a while. Or just do the thump whenever you can during your day. It really helps. <3
Jessica05.02.2016
This class is sooo great! This and a nice green smoothie afterwards energizes every cell in my body. Also makes the frown between my eye brows less deep... ;-) Namaste
Marlene05.02.2016
:) That sounds like a real treat Jessica! Namaste!
Jessica15.01.2016
Wow! This was great! Wish I found it earlier since I already have a massive cold.... but I figure this cannot make it worse... Will incorporate this on a regular basis. Thank you!
Marlene17.01.2016
Yeah! Be great to hear how you are getting on! <3
Jeannette29.12.2015

Catherine03.01.2016
Is it really kundalini yoga ? I practice it for years and I never did that except one exercice. It is more qi gong, no ? no work of the back ?
Marlene04.01.2016
Hi Catherine, yes it is kundalini :) Kundalini yoga knows many specific sets targeting different areas, glands or organs in the body. Not all practises involve back or spine work. Namaste!
Anne21.01.2024
Thank you Marlene :) Loved this shaking practice
Donna24.09.2018
Thank you Marlene. I found this while looking for a practice to help with recovery from Lyme disease. Hoping it gets my lymphatic system moving.
Nicole26.01.2016
Amazing how different I feel after only a 20-minute kriya. Kundalini is so weirdly wonderful! Thank you, Marlene!
Marlene26.01.2016

Mia25.04.2016
Thank you Marlene, this was lovely! ☺️ It was also my first time doing a Kundalini-inspired yoga and I think I am hooked now. So different (from Ashtanga for example) and yet so effective!! I will have an unusually good Monday after this I think!
Mia08.05.2016
Very special indeed, but I feel like it speaks deeply to me
Marlene25.04.2016
Thank you! Yes, isn't it special? <3
Lina16.10.2016
Hi Marlene! I've experimented a bit with the wrist shake, and I'm not sure I understand how to do it. Am I supposed to activly turn my wrists from side to side, or rather shake my lower arms and just let the wirsts kind of flap? I hope you understand what I mean :)
Lina25.10.2016
Yes, I underestand now :) I was confused beacuse it looked more like flapping at times, but it makes sense now! Thank you :)
Marlene25.10.2016
Hi Lina, thank you for your questions. I hope I undestand you, it is an active movement forwards and backwards with vigour. So you gain some momentum and it may feel a little like a flap, but it is not. I hope I make sense now :) Please let me know. <3
Orsel04.01.2017
Goood morning I was feeling very tired and decided to do a short sequence turns out I really needed to shake things out ;) thanx so very much Marlene
