Hi, I've been loving these kundalini-inspired yoga practices from Marlene lately. I had something interesting happen when I've been practicing this particular set this week. Today, during the chanting practice, I suddenly stopped chanting, and my eyes rolled up in my head, and my eyelids started fluttering. There was a lot of bright light. It wasn't painful or scary, so I just let it happen -- it continued throughout most of the savanna practice as well. I'm curious if anyone here has any thoughts about what that might have been. Thanks!

Beautyful! Thank you !

Thank you Marlene. Your classes have become a favorite. I could really get into the orange color, as I have been dreaming about orange things all week. I feel I could tap into a tender wild sensual place.
Marlene15.02.2016
How good to hear, thank you! And great that it's so relevant for you at this moment. <3
Jennifer29.09.2018
could you please tell me the name of the mudra you use around the 16 minute mark when you do the bridge flow?
Annerie25.01.2017
I am new to Kundalini yoga. Your classes have been a nice opportunity to experience this style, which is very different from my regular yoga practice. I am suprised by the power of this practice. I felt the energy in my body shifting and flowing, and there was so much presence and awareness in the 2nd chakra at the end of the class. This feeling, this aliveness, stayed with me for the rest of the day. Thank you Marlene!
Sarah29.02.2016

This was wonderful! Will be repeated. oh, the mantra btw made me giggle, I was doing this class very early in the morning, I was sounding more like a cat with a sore throat HURRURURR, than what it was supposed to sound like :)

Jocelyne07.02.2016
Thank you Marlene for another beautiful class. My lower belly feels fuller , in a sense of denser, more "inhabited" (I don't know if that makes sense ;-))
Jocelyne07.02.2016
(oups, not finished)...and the whole body feels calmer. Thank you for your beautiful presence. Namaste.
Jocelyne07.02.2016
Back again...I took Irina's class "Rise like a lotus" after this one and I found those two classes work well together ;-)
Marlene08.02.2016
Yes Jocelyne, I know exactly what you mean. Like you feel more alive in that area. There is more presence and awareness. That is beautiful! <3
Noemi08.02.2016

Divya19.06.2017
This helped me somewhat relieve the pain around my uterus lining that I've been experiencing lately. The Har mantra was so intense, it helped me contract and release a lot. Thankyou very much for this class Marlene. Much Love!
Marlene20.06.2017
Wow that is great to hear Divya! beautiful, maybe come back to this practice once in a while. <3
Anita08.02.2016
Hi Marlene Thank you for sharing this beautiful practice. I felt rejuvenated after doing it and in shavasana I went into deep sleep. Loved the Har mantra too. Love Anita
Marlene09.02.2016
Deep relaxation! Great! <3
Ulrike08.02.2016
What a perfect wonderful practice. I think kundalini yoga is just the best to calm the mind. I did this at 5 in the morning and it will help me through my day. I have a lot of stress at work at the moment and I am so grateful to be able to have such wonderful teachers! Thank you Marlene.
Marlene08.02.2016
You are right, it's great for getting you focused and centred in the body. It's the most magical time to do it early in the morning. <3 Marlene
Lindsay07.02.2016

Thank you, Marlene, for your wonderful classes! I'm doing also the other classes with the other chakra's but can't find the one with the first chakra. Did you also make a class for the first chakra? if so, what is the title?
Kirsty26.12.2018
Hello Malou, you can find Marlene's root chakra class here: https://www.ekhartyoga.com/classes/1549/rooting-and-grounding-get-comfortable-in-your-own-skin
jenny09.10.2018
Wonderful wonderful class Marlene thank you ?
jenny27.02.2017
That was exactly what I needed tonight. It made me realise how much tension I hold in my belly area. This class made it feel so relaxed and spacious. Thank you so much for your wonderful teaching.
Ilse09.02.2016
I definitely feel more alive in that area. I had some trouble focusing there through the class because my focus is drawn to the heart chakra lately, but the mantra and visualization drew me there in the end and I feel it. Thank you Marlene, I love these classes!x
Marlene10.02.2016
Great to hear Ilse! And you are very welcome! X

Beautiful feeling and feeling energized too. TYou!
Noemi19.02.2016
Hi Marlene. Great class! It was easy-going and good, but then when I lied down for savasana I was knocked down, I couldn't move and stayed in there for over half an hour. Then I had this spaced out feeling and was a bit oversensitive. Would you know what was going on?
Marlene22.02.2016
Hi Noami, yes this can happen when you experience a big shift in your system. Drink enough water, maybe do some grounding practice to help integrate what is going on in your system. And see if you can do this practice once a week, since it seems you are in need of this. But not more, since you are experiencing intense reactions at this point. Let me know how you get on! ❤️ Marlene
Elisa07.02.2016
Fantastic! Thank you*
Marlene08.02.2016

Dear Marlene, can I do this practice being pregnant in the first Trimester? Thanks, Anna
nilia17.03.2017
This class was awesome! Challenging but attainable. I have a question what is the word thatv you say in the mantra? I also find your voice is very soothing and jam able to calm down!! Namaste
Marlene31.03.2017
Thank you Kirsty and you are absolutely right! And thank you Nilia for your warm words <3
Kirsty24.03.2017
Hi Nilia, apologies for the delayed reply. I think Marlene must have missed your question. I believe she is saying "Har" which broadly translates as the creative power of the universe. Warm wishes.
Mia08.05.2016
Thank you Marlene, this was lovely! I really like this Kundalini yoga... I am practising thanks to you, your Kundalini classes are my first ever actually (now this one was my 2nd one) ☺️
Marlene09.05.2016
Yay! I am so happy to are enjoying the classes and feeling the benefits. <3
Rachael31.05.2018
I love your kundalini classes Marlene (and have done many) - but I had a very strong reaction at the end of this one. After the Har mantra I felt very lightheaded (which isn't unusual) - but then at the end of the practice I felt so exhausted I could barely move, and then felt incredibly hungry (this is 10 in the morning, not usually a time I eat) and had a strong urge to eat spicy noodles! Crazy. Am feeling better a couple of hours and lots of rest later - but I wonder what causes these reactions that sometimes people report with kundalini. Are they a release of tension/stress/energy that suddenly cause overwhelm? :)
Rachael31.05.2018
Thanks for your quick reply Marlene :) I've done some grounding work and am feeling a little better. I still feel a little light-headed, so I'm guessing I released some kind of blockage as you say :) The 2nd chakra is one I have thought may hold some blockages for me, so this makes sense. I will take it easy for the rest of the day. Thank you for all your lovely classes and soothing teachings, I will continue to pursue the fascinating practice of kundalini with you :)
Marlene31.05.2018
Hi Rachael, thank you for sharing. Har is a very primordial energy. And yes it could definitely release a lot of energy. Rest and grounding is really the golden recipe here. Once your body has had time to redistribute and rebalance, you should feet better. Kundalini yoga moves energy and when you have stagnation or energetic blocks, releasing that, can feel very overwhelming. Let me know how you do. <3
