This practice starts with a series of exercises designed to stretch your feet, make them wider and longer, and bring awareness to them so that you can firmly use your feet to support your poses. Practice Vrksasana and Ardha Chandrasana on a block to try out your balance, play around with closing your eyes and a few other tricks. This is a great class to do on a regular basis if you feel that your balance is a bit off.

This class came up as a "surprise me" for a relaxing class, and I'm so glad as it was lovely. I never think of balancing poses as relaxing but the intense focus is calming and i definitely feel relaxed now. I really liked balancing on a block, and the feet stretching at the beginning made a big difference. Thank you Adela, I learned a lot in this class and really enjoyed it.

Hello Adela! I do this class every day... I am getting better at it each day... I am trying to work up to doing more Sun Salutations , but for now I cannot really do very many due to a rib injury that I got in July while doing Sun Salutations... I am proud of what I can do for now, you are helping me get my confidence back... Thank you!

Balancing poses are my favourite - I immensely enjoy these moments of intense concentration and awareness and I was very happy to find a class dedicated to balance. However, I realize that I need to invest in proper blocks!

Hola Adela...first class but not last! My balance is not good so I thought I give it a go and I really like it. Some poses are challenging but more importantly I think that I will get to the full pose, but first get my balance in place. So thank you! :) Teresa
