This Vinyasa Krama is based on 4 poses that will prepare and open the body for Ustrasana / Camel pose: a backbend pose. This pose stretches the front of the body, abdomen, upper thigh muscles and improves spinal flexibility. This pose is about opening your heart, allowing your mind to follow.

Thank you Marlene. I have a question about the cobra pose- please can you do a video on the correct alignment and modifications for the pose. My hands take the full weight when fully extended and I am in the back bend - it is uncomfortable. Please can you help with this pose?

Great Class. Last part was really helpful in getting my lower back and pelvic in proper positioning in order for the full bend. Before i couldn't ttouch my heels. Thanks Marlene :)

'love the process to get to camel in addition to the added instruction at the end. I enjoyed the dynamic movements to get into the pose--a fabulous stretch in and of itself. Thank you Marlene! (I was glad I had done some more warm up before this class)

Hi, this class was great! But I forgot to warm up before and had some back pain the next day. So just a little suggestion for Ekhart Yoga for the future, to maybe include in the video descriptions whether the class already includes warm up or not :) Thanks!

Thank you for the great explanation of the pelvic tilt and the focus on the upper part of the back. Curling my toes under and sitting on the heels was super painful but now I know even my feet need a bit of stretching ;-)
