A journey with physical and mental benefits for spine and mind. We begin in a kneeling pose for some rotations and seated hip openers – so you might like to have some padding for your knees. There are two main series' of poses with lots of back and forths, up and downs, flowing actions (involving the knees and hips) to keep the spinal column mobile while using breath and movement to help keep the mind fluid. We finish with shoulderstand, a musical Savasana and an invitation to join in the closing chorus: I am the waves, I am the ocean... I am stillness in motion (a lovely song from Lulu & Mischka).
