Try this class to explore your structural resiliency. We all hold a certain amount of (good!) tension in our bodies in order to support our posture and form. In this class, Anna playfully explores the range of supportive tension in the body in the body via traditional yoga asanas. You'll need a tennis ball or a yoga Tune-up ball to do the foot massage at the start of the class.

Thank you for this nice class, Anna....it was something special and I really enjoyed it and my body opened up by the bouncing. A great experience! 🙏

Hello Anna, Bouncing quite an experience! Massaging the feet helped really to work on waking up the sole and also very interesting to find a better balance for me indeed. The left arch of my foot tends to collapse a little bit. Anything you recomend to do to to prevent this? Thank you
Anna21.02.2020
It's a bit tricky to explain without showing, but you could try to "tense" the sole of the foot(not the toes), just to "pick up" and engage the arch of the left foot. When you do that, you might feel a difference through the whole leg and a different activation in hip muscles as well. Let me know how it goes!

gosh this was a tough class, no way i can do that legs in the air! any tips about how to build up to that?
Anna11.07.2024
Hi Caroline, do you mean the navasana or floating the feet off with legs crossed? In either case, try doing an "as if"-meaning attempt the movement but don't worry about achieving the movement, but engaging the muscles needed. You'll do that by doing the "as-if" . It will happen! But it's definitely a challenge and sometimes we need to give our body time to adapt (build the strength & flexibity).
