Hi Aki, You inspired me a while back to explore a more honest way to practice physical yoga. I believe it came to light during your Slow Paced Energy class. When you move fluidly (I call it beautifully), the entire body gets involved, no matter the part you are moving. Your Falling and Rising classes are amazing too. Thanks for this talk. All my love, Christine
Aki15.06.2016
Thank you Christine. I am really touched by your comment. I appreciate it and I feel appreciated with my offerings. :-)

I hadn't thought of "fluidity" in yoga as the actual movement of body fluids. Incredible. I like the image of mist spreading through the body as a way to create space. Your demonstrations of the body movements help me understand and observe fluid movement. Thank you.
Aki15.06.2016
Thank you for your detailed feedback, Donna. Hope you'll continue exploring your fluid body.
Alison02.04.2016
Yaaaay. Aki's back! I am so pleased. This makes so much sense to me Aki. I definitely suffer with physical stiffness; Certainly around my hips and upper back... Also, I can be quite rigid/inflexible in some areas of my thinking too. (Could this be connected I wonder?). I will explore this fluid concept next time I notice my thoughts and also during my physical practice. Thank you Aki. Encore x
Aki15.06.2016
Yaaaay, Alison, thanks! Yes, there is always a connection between mind and body. Fluid and breath are connected, so check how you're breathing when feeling rigid. Also give space to the area. Hips - it's affected by placement of the body parts etc too - but softening the skin = membrane, so fluid can move thru them and also send less effort full energy. You might find more movement and release in the tight area. I cannot say too precisely as I cannot see you. But here are some suggestions.
Ulrike11.04.2016
So so interesting, I will pay attention to it in my practice. Thanks very much Aki
Aki15.06.2016
Thank you, Ulrike. Keep me updated how it's going.

Such a great explanation, I like the concept/experience of fluids and there is a part of my body that is very fluid (non-controlled fluid I will say:)) but the enquiry you presented her really was an aha moment for me this really resonate into body-mind, thank you

Thanks Erika. Hope you are finding a good fluid balance in your whole body. Let me know how it's going.
