Are you up for a deep and intense Yin practice? Then this one is for you! We begin with meditation and some pranayama (Nadi shodana) to set the intention for this class: connecting to your essence, staying with the sensations and allowing resistance to surface. We then practice some Yin poses that are commonly experienced as intense, such as Seal, Lizard, Sleeping Swan, Frog and Camel. Don't worry though - José will guide you through various options so you can deeply release into them. This is a great practice to help you deal with the struggles we come across in our day to day life. We end with a well-deserved Shavasana and meditation to leave you feeling recharged, relaxed and deeply connected. Props needed: blanket, blocks, bolster and pillow.

Seriously, this practice makes it to my top 100 yoga practices here. I am starting a playlist actually of this - I've been practicing with you many years online. Jose, your timing, the options you offered, the perfect amount of nadi shodhina for me - taught with such love and compassion - seriously incredibly transformative. I am having some very challenging health issues. Practicing with you is the gift I give myself that helps transform my life.

It was such a grounding practice! I have a low key anxiety and it helped me become calm, as if a lake inside me became clear of ripples of emotions. Such a relief. Thank you for offering this sequence!

I felt very tired and my back was aching a little after a long spell in the garden when I selected this class I wasn't sure if I was up to it today - however, it was just what my body needed. I had great ease in body and mind afterwards and a short nap on the mat after too! Thanks Jose for providing the range of Yin classes and for explaining what to give attention to and what to expect from each posture.
