Entering into each pose without judgement or expectation, we move through a sequence where we visit the familiar and let go of complicated transitions so that we can be at peace, find stillness and remain aware in a state of equilibrium.

This was just what I needed to regain some connection with my body and get back some fluidity -- after becoming quite tight and stiff from a trip which involved way too much sitting, over days -- in taxis, in airports, in planes and cars. Ahhhh. It really felt great to slow down and relax in these movements.

Thank you so much, Julie for this completely yummy practice. It could not have come at a better time as today is my birthday and the theme I set for the day is to be aware of my needs and to nourish and support myself in any way I can. So what better gift could there be from me, and you :-), to me than taking these minutes to reconnect, without judgement and see what happens. I must admit that even though going all the way, full range and what have you was not the point of this class I could not resist an Urdhva Dhanurasans at the end, just to see if I could. Like many times before I have noticed in yoga as in life that you can muscle your way to and through a lot, but also that easeing into it, give up the resistance almost and letting things happen is just as good if not a better option. It is funny how a pose that I've always felt required so much effort sometime can be reached so effortlessly.

When this class came up on EY a few days ago, I decided I would keep it for a day when I felt a bit low in energy. I eventually gave it a go this morning and it definitely delivered. The gentle and mindful movements reset the body and mind. Feeling uplifted and lighter phisically and emotionally. Always loving practicing with you, dear Julie ❤️
