Learn techniques to relax the areas of the body affected by TMJ disorder, such as the head, neck, shoulders and upper body. You'll feel much more relaxed after this session and if you practice it regularly, you may learn to 'retrain' the body so the effects of TMJ reduce dramatically or disappear altogether. You'll need something to sit on, a bolster or brick and wall space.

Just a thought - as I will do this before bed, it would be good to do the floor bits first and then get into bed for the relaxing neck movements and massage face bits?

Dentist has just told me (unbeknownst to me) that I grind my teeth when asleep -so going to practice this again- thanks was relaxing

I found this really helpful as I have big problems with jaw tension (such bad pain I thought it was toothache) but after doing this class twice it has almost gone away! (I’m still going to the dentist though just in case :) )

I woke with a headache from clenching my jaw during the night. Have just finished this class and the headache has gone. In the past I may have taken painkillers...no need now! Thank you Esther, I love your classes and am discovering so much :)
