Great stuff, David! Many thanks...especially for the reminder to enjoy the Mystery!
David05.03.2015
Thank you Trisha - and the great thing is that the mystery is right in front of our eyes, we don't have to go searching!

Thank You David for all your amazing talks! I really enjoyed this one. It's so useful to use our awareness as tool to take us away from the "state" as reaction to "triggers". I find it so difficult especially when it comes to family patterns...working on that. Namaste, Francesca.

Thank you Francesca! Lovely to hear. And yes family is a big one for lots of us.... David

Hi David, thanks for your very clear talk! I have a question to the likes and dislike (kleshas). As far as I 'know' these functions/feelings have a strong relation to the function of manipura. Is this chakra in combination with the heart chakra then a key to widen the filters so that there is more space between trigger and state? Or does the concept of the chakras rather not fit in here? Anyway awareness is really like nektar for the soul :)
David08.03.2015
Hi Sabine - and thank you - interesting comment! The way I look at it is that - whilst the chakra model and the klesha model both serve the same purpose of purification - the two models are coming from very different angles. The link may not therefore be as straightforward as you suggest and entanglement in likes/dislikes could be a result from "imbalance" in any of the (lower) chakras.

Thank you David. Delightful as always. "From the drama trip to the dharma trip"! ;-) haha, I love that one, definitly keeping it with me!! I also like the analogy of the torch light indeed. The frame is really clear. The trigger-state-filter part reminds me of the frame I use to explain how to go from a reactional communication to a relational communication. The frame also reminds me of two questions I use as props as you say when experiencing a discomfort : what would love do in this situation? and in this situation, who am I? Relating to your frame, I see that they help seeing the filters (what filter I'm using, what role am I playing in this drama trip) and addressing the ignorance box - reconnecting to my true nature. Thank you. Jay Ganesh!

Jai Jai Jocelyne - thank you! And I love those two questions - the first is very similar to one I use myself: what would I do in this situation when I have no fear? David

Your statement about how we use habits as ways to be efficient solely because that is 'the way we have always done things' really resonated with me. I have been attempting to change my habits to move into more awareness and to better myself and sometimes I am met with anxiety because I don't know if it will work (or at least that's what my mind tells itself). Great talk with loads of good points.
David05.03.2015
Thanks Laura - I know the anxiety thing! A good strategy is what I call baby steps to new behaviour. Starting with small changes in situations where the stakes are not too high. This builds confidence, and fades anxiety.

Great talk, David, as usual! Thank you for bringing me closer to the light!
David05.03.2015
Many thanks Madalina! The light shines within you!

Fantastic! It was as if you were speaking to me directly. David, thank you. I still have a long way to go in understanding myself and "awareness" (especially how I react to certain things/situations in my life, but it's a journey well worth taking. Lots in the video and will certainly enjoy watching this again. Thank you.
David05.03.2015
Many thanks Lorna. Enjoy the journey well worth taking!
