The art of knowing where you're going and then 'walking your why' could be one of the most essential things you do in this lifetime. Get clear on what it is that drives you to practice yoga and find some deep resolves that keep you connected to your practice, yourself and your life.

I've been pondering and reflecting and meditating on this subject for a (long) while now and found this talk really helpful - especially the question: Can I set an intention that's in harmony with my will and the will of the world? Thank you, as always, James 🙏🏼

This was so beautiful and inspiring. This is totally my kind of take on intentions. I love going deeper and deeper, and I’ve recently discovered that, ultimately, my intention is to be an instrument of God’s Light. And the beautiful thing is that I can be just that right here and now, in the way I listen to a friend or share something I’ve learned with someone, in a meal I cook for my husband or in staying committed to my personal growth so I can better serve those around me. Thank you James for this reflection on setting intentions. I loved it.

helpful james. I actually never set an intention because I prefer to be free and let the practise open my body and mind. I dont want to know why I am doing yoga, I just do it without having to think about the why..... I am always trying to explain why, yog aare why-holidays for me! but now maybe sometimes I will set an intention. be open. gael

Thank you James, you put so well into words what my mind often grapples with and I feel much more clarity now. For the last little while, I've been intrigued with the concept of each new breath being a new start, a new opportunity to begin afresh and move forward with. This talk ties in so well with that thought process and has certainly helped me to feel more connection with the stillness within and the natural waves and troughs life is made up of. Thank you again ??

I really appreciate the depth of the information that comes from continuing to ask why. Very eloquently explained. Your "trick" at the end was also quite useful and insightful. Thank you for sharing your insights and reflections.

I appreciate your clear teachings and the committment to the subtle realm....Also, I resonate with the mention of "The Secret" as I always had a hard time with it. It seemed to be missing something and I think it was helpful how you differentiated between my will and thy will. Keep diving, Viki from Michigan

Thank you so much for this talk. I was both drawn to and wary of starting a yoga nidra practice simply because of my misunderstanding of setting intentions. I thought it was more of the laws of attraction ideas, which I don’t resonate with. Now I understand more from your talk. You’ve brought some clarity to this for me now and I feel more open to trying yoga nidra now.
