This simple movement enhances circulation, releases tension in the neck and shoulders and flushes your lymphatic system. Just 6 minutes of these have wonderful health benefits. Try it, and do it regularly, preferably every day! If you enjoyed this class, try Esther's 'Joint freeing exercises'.

Great, Esther! And your commentary throughout was most helpful in keeping me going to the magic 300. With love and appreciation!

Is this fine to do in pregnancy? (I'm 21 weeks). I've been doing the joint-freeing exercises and would like to follow it with this one.

Thank you!! I love it already! I have not yet encountered it in my qi gong practice. Thank you for sharing some practices you did at your silent month retreat. This will be wonderful to do in the garden in the morning. Just this morning as I stepped out in the garden I felt like moving a bit and I wanted something soft as the body was not awaken yet and didn't quite know how I felt like moving. And Tadaa, as always, Ekhart Yoga serves me on a gloden platter what I need... This will be perfect! Thank you! I love you.
Esther25.03.2019
yes exactly! I'm also doing this outside when I can Jocelyne. So happy you like it. I love you too.
Laurel01.04.2019
Masha!! So happy to see your beautiful face : ) Thanks Esther for this practice. Planning to do it every morning this week. Pre-meditation seems to make the most sense for me, but wondering when you did this at your silent retreat? Time of day and in what sequence of your practice? <3
Esther01.04.2019
Hi Laurel I did this right after the joint freeing exercises first thing in the morning myself, before my day of meditation started. x

Plan to do this every morning. The 6 minutes went by so fast as I did it in my gardens this today. Would love to see more Qigong classes.

Wow, this was so energising! I've had problems with my shoulders/arms for years now and I'll start incorporating this arm swing on a regular basis and see the effects. I have a feeling it'll create better flow and movement in the upper body area :-) NICE!

That's was great tip. I work from home painting and my shoulders get really tight. This will really help and six minutes manageable and I know just the spot next to a pohutakawa tree. Thanks again Michelle from NZ.
Maria27.08.2019
Thank. Please could we have more on gigong.
Victoria28.03.2019
Wow, that was kind of amazing. Honestly, I felt almost as if I were falling asleep on my feet! Thanks so much for teaching this technique. Namaste.
Esther06.04.2019
Wonderful effect yes, nice to hear Victoria.
Jane27.12.2019
I haven’t done this is a long time and I decided to try it again as I am overcoming a pinched nerve in the shoulder. During the swings I felt so many different emotions coming forth from my belly; negative, joy, glee. I feel energized with positiveness and my shoulder pain is improved and seems peaceful. Thank you it really works!
jacqueline25.03.2019
I like the arm swing--find it meditative. It's nice to connect again with qigong, thank you.
