Always nice to give myself for curiosity. Each time I do exercises such as these, I find they become 'easier' (ie: I don't fall asleep now!). Thank you.
Meliors02.10.2013
lovely, but at the end of a tiring day I just kept falling asleep whenever you stopped speaking. I probably should have chosen a sitting meditation instead of lying down. Off to bed now for real...

Dear Esther, Kindly help me find a breathing exercise that helps oxygenate/regenerate brain cells to have greater clarity and focus. Is bastrika good for this? I look forward to your advise. Thanks
Esther09.03.2016
Dear Anjali, Kapalabhati and Nadhi sodhnana will both be helpful. You can practice 1st the faster rhytme, then the slower. https://www.ekhartyoga.com/videos/kapalabhati-breath https://www.ekhartyoga.com/videos/nadi-sodhana-pranayama

Dear Ester, I have a question regarding this class. Unfortunately, I injured my left IS joint and upon advise of doctors I should only walk or do the Child asana for a while. My question is, can I follow these classes sitting on my knees instead of crossing legs? Namaste, Anna
Esther26.06.2015
Sorry to hear you are in pain Anna , and yes you can absolutely follow this sitting anyway that is good for you! Straight spine is most important.
Angelina14.04.2018

Thank you Esther. Even as a teacher I sometimes struggle with my breath, when I'm in a flow practice I can control the inhale and the exhale, but once I start to come into meditation my breathing becomes very erratic, thank you for this guided practice about just becoming aware of the breath and not trying to change it. Namaste
Frances02.05.2018
Thank you Esher, found this very peaceful. Looking forward to practicing the other breathing techniques with you. Namaste

Simply, but so effective. ICt brought me so much closer to myself, I realised that I was holding my breath because I was afraid to feel, I think.. Thank you!

Hi Esther! I'm having some problems pumping my stomach backwards and forwards while performing nauli kriya. Would you suggest that i focus on that or return to some breathing exercises to enhance my awareness. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
Esther09.08.2017
Hi Jordan, nothing beats awareness exercises, always so very helpful and relaxing, which is what will solve the problem eventually!!
