Thank you ladies for this lovely class. It was nice to hear the "I see you, I love you" with the poses for 30 sec. It made it much more relaxing........(-:
Anne Berit18.01.2016
Many things are easier when I manage to bypass my overly eager mind. Letting go of thought patterns and old habit is easier to do, first thing in the morning, everything seem simpler, in a way. A couple of times during this program have chosen other classes than the ones in the program, this is what happens when you tell me to go with my instincts, but apart from that it's been great to simply do as I'm told, no picking and choosing among hundreds of classes. This has also been useful, as in not turning on the thinking mind too much before practicing. Luckily I have experienced a tendency now for my mind to take more and more of a back seat position during yoga. How great is that! And here I was, thinking this program would once and for all make me a morning (exercise) person, and only that. Again I got more than I bargained for. ....are you going to charge me extra for that :-)
Esther18.01.2016
:-)) You create your own specialness and extra's dear Anne, so its all for free!!
Annemarie24.01.2016
lovely class to get everything going and set a respectfull connection to the body and mind thank you :)
Thuy28.01.2016
Dear Esther, thank your for your class. This is the second time I come back this lesson. But I also don't understand, clear about this theme- adjustment. For me, when we practice we make adjustment like: organize hands, feet, belly in up and let free the shoulder...so I have some questions: what's different between adjustment and let it happens? When should we turn on , off adjustment? "I see you and I love you" I fall in love what you said. Thank you for sharing.
Esther01.03.2016
Dear Thuy, Letting it happen is more a state of mind, you can adjust your hands and feet, but rather then being too involved in it, you can observe yourself doing it, allowing it to happen more. I hope this makes sense.
Kirsty29.01.2016
Hello Thuy, Esther is away at the moment so I'll ask her to get back to you regarding your question when she returns. Warm wishes.
Sarah19.01.2016
Inspiring class... I see you and I love you :-) Thank you Esther and Kirsty xx
Rose25.01.2016
This was so nice! Really felt like a moving meditation to me (I know all yoga is, but this holding and observing intensified that) and left me super relaxed! the savasana excercise was lovely as well. Thank you
Jill18.01.2016
Thanks Esther, great class, I feel so energised by it.
Esther18.01.2016
Nice to hear Jill!
Liselotte22.02.2016
Hmmm, thank you Esther! Great wake-up practice. Just the right combination between challenging and smooth!
Armande29.01.2016
Dear Esther, Really liked this class! For two months I did no yoga (but more cardio and fitness at home; yes I was a bit a sleeping member of Ekhart yoga, oooops) and now I did this class and was very glad to do a lot of yoga poses again. I think I like a combination of body weight fitness/cardio and doing yoga..... Thanx for this lovely class.
Adele24.01.2016
I feel amazing after this class!
Catherine18.01.2016
Yoga is a metaphor for life, I decided, not for the first time, as I wobbled around in Tree... When I wake up, I can feel the objections start - "this one is too hard", they whisper, "that one is going to be all fluffy". But I get on the mat anyway, and I'm so happy I did.
Esther18.01.2016
And that is the practice.. to get on your mat anyway :-)
Shamira29.04.2016
This is one of my favourite classes and I have done it many times but I find the 'new-agey' message repeated so very many times through the class a little wearisome. In general I find too much talking interferes with concentration in poses and when a message doesn't resonate with you it makes it even more distracting.
Esther29.04.2016
Hi Shamira, yes I can imagine when you repeat a class that less of a message, and keeping it more general is better! I'll keep in mind the amount of repetitions though ...Glad you still enjoy the class.
Shamira03.04.2016
LOVE thes classes with longer holds!
Laura23.02.2016
Beautiful practice! I love to start with a series of energizing Sun Salutations and then move into longer, powerful, but safe holds. And the "I see you. I love you" that goes with the moves, had a healing, centering effect. Thank you, Esther!
Laurie21.01.2016
Really loved class - would love it to become a 45min/60 minute one so we don't have to rush but see many benefits from 30 minutes too. Learned a lot - loved the hands under feet pose and the detailed correction of bridge pose - putting shoulders into floor vs towards buttocks very helpful. Thanks for very creative, thoughtful class.
Anna18.01.2016
Esther, thank you a lot!! It's a very nice class. Really!
Esther18.01.2016
Thanks Anna :-)

Katrina18.01.2016
thought I would let you know as I am lucky enough to have time this morning, I returned to Esther Teules love treatment meditation ... wonderful partnership with this class
Katrina18.01.2016
Hi Ester and Kirsty really enjoying this morning programme and the great diversity of classes, some of which have challenged me to do what you just guided us to do for myself because it was unspoken in the class. instructions.. On occasions I could not achieve this, " seeing and loving myself"...interesting why I don't do this when I am not advised too...oh for it to be a natural instinct for us all, in Yoga, in life...but it just isn't and therefore it was lovely to have this morning class to bring us back to this; to be non judgemental, non competitive and to love ourselves, otherwise what is the point. Again loved that your advice was that the highest spirituality is to observe without judgement. The simplest thing to do but the hardest because we are often not tuned to do this, we are tuned to be defensive and criticise, especially ourselves and sometimes we may back lash and criticise the teaching instead because you just cant cope with the internal criticism. the feeling of not being good enought-.well that is in my case or because of this tendency to not observe with love and want to push and compete we even seek out practices that play into this judgement because it is what many of us know and strangely a teacher telling us what is right and controlling us feels safe, far easier than taking responsibility for our bodies, our own movement and our own practice. this class was perfect for me today and perfect I think in the whole programme, think it came just at the right time, but I am sure you know that and your instinct to do this class today was right there. lovely, energising and centring..brought me back to what I love about Yoga..and life! best wishes and thanks for this programme and particularly this class Katrina
Anne Berit19.01.2016
I often wonder why we make it incompatible opposites to love ourselves as much as we do others, why we are so harsh in our judgements of ourselves and so forgiving towards others. I have no good answer, but in believing this to be both wrong and beneficial to nobody, I try to change. After all, taking care of myself is not a full time job, it leaves plenty of time and energy to be there for others as well. Even more so, actually. I, like my car, do not run well on an empty tank...
Esther18.01.2016
You are so very welcome Katrina!!
emy20.01.2016
Wonderful class! Thank you Esther, especially to keep reminding about the shoulders, that changed the feeling of my practice. Thank you again, for Christy too, x.
Jo20.01.2016
One minute doesn't sound a long time but when you are in chair pose for example it feels it! Liked the mix of quick flow and long pauses. Thanks Esther and Kirsty!
Mary18.01.2016
I like "I see you and I love you," it helps. Going to apply this to other poses. Thanks for a great practice!
Esther18.01.2016

Lorna19.01.2016
My wandering mind seemed very still this morning, even in tree pose. Thank you both very much.
Ilse18.01.2016
I did this class at night because I already have a morning practice in which I do my longer class of the day, and even tough this left me energized, it is great because I sleep so well after it! xxx
Kelly06.02.2016
Loved this class, thank you.

Glad you liked it Dominique.
Sara18.01.2016
I did this class, then James' nidra class from yesterday.....boy, I'm a lucky girl. I loved this class Esther, especially spending extra time in poses. What perfect timing for accepting without judgement...today is Martin Luther King day in the states, and that message is a wonderful one to carry throughout the day.
Esther18.01.2016
Yes a nice coming together of things indeed!
Ann23.01.2016
Thank you Esther. Great start to the day.
Salla18.01.2016
Thank you Esther, this class gave me a bit of heat that I needed. It's -30 degrees here and as a vata type I'm not feeling great so any additional warmth is appreciated. I've really enjoyed this program since I've never been a morning person. I've tried morning yoga before but never really succeeded. Now I've just woken up at six every morning to do yoga and after that the rest of the morning is actually pretty nice and it doesn't take me two hours to wake up properly. The trick is to just start and not have any time to think about whether I'm in the mood or not. :D And the best thing is that I can actually spend some time with time husband in the evenings after the kids are asleep when I don't have to get on my mat. :D
Esther18.01.2016
How great you really get the benefits Salla, and well done for getting up so early every morning!
Efi06.11.2017
thank you Esther ,again and again!Love.Namaste.
Karen23.05.2016
Love it!!
Lotte21.01.2016
That was a tough one to day, at least for me. Had too much on my mind and lacked the ability to focus. But came to the end, and feel better than if I hadn't done it ;-) thank you
Neny19.01.2016
Lovely hold poses!! I really can feel & love the energize practice to sense it in the present moment. Thank you Esther, Namaste
Merry18.01.2016
Thanks so much again, Esther and Kirsty! The echo of this class is a powerful stillness. A feeling that helps to walk with intent, yet without hurry, to act with intent, but without any competition....It's a bit like coming back from a walk in the forest or by the seaside. Thank you for that! xx
Esther18.01.2016
thats's beautiful Merry, thanks for sharing!
Anne-Marie17.08.2016
Dear Esther Ekhart, Today (wednesday 17th of august) I have problems with opening the yoga video's. Is there maybe something wrong with the ekhartyoga site? I don't believe it's my pc because I can open other yoga sites. I look forward to your reply. Sincerely, Anne-Marie
Esther18.08.2016
Hi Anne-Marie, I have forwarded your problem to the tech support (contact@ekhartyoga.com) . They will contact you, but it looks like you need to clear the cookies.

Elizabeth18.01.2016
Such a beautiful class. Very peaceful, and relaxing, yet also powerful and joyful. I appreciate the reminders to search inwards, I still have a smile on my face. Thank-you. :)
Jocelyn12.05.2016
Wow, didn't expect to be sweating this morning! For some reason, this sequence was really energizing and tiring for me (in a good way)!
Mary08.09.2016
Really lovely opening but mindful class. Thank you.
Ceri30.11.2016
What an amazing deep and strong, yet not at all straining, class. I really found the shoulder explanations helpful, I think I have been keeping mine too rigid in trying to 'keep them down'. It was also lovely to start the day with the 'seeing, accepting and loving' comments interspersed throughout the practice. This is one I will definitely come back to. Thank you. I am really enjoying the quality of the classes on Ekhart Yoga - this is my first programme, very impressed.
diane19.03.2018
