I have followed your classes to get to know to yin yoga. It's not easy but feels very good to my body. Your calming voice and style makes it all better. Thank you so much José!

Francesca27.07.2014
WoW!!! This is my new TOP FAVOURIT class in EkhartYoga!!! Absolutely amazing postures....I felt so many different strong sensations while I was holding the poses and also at the end of the class. I feel my body awake and more active inside...very difficult to explain. Really really TIP TOP CLASS (as we use to say in Norway!). I really ejoyed the stretch in the toes and in the fingers...I will try to do it more often. You are a blessing José. Namaste, Francesca.

Beautiful class. Thanks

Did this as I wanted to give my hands some stimulation and found the concentrated attention to other parts also timely thanks
Ene04.09.2014
Wow, that was a true surprise to me that 1h and 7minutes went past so fast. Usually I struggle with classes (when I do at home, in the real life class it's no problem) longer than 30minutes.
Anita18.10.2014
the toe squats are very difficult for me and so is the dragon pose, Fantastic class thank you!
Nathalie27.07.2014
I usually do Ashtanga in the cooler months and Yin during the hotter months as my body gets very agitated if I build up too heat. So this class was absolutely perfect! Many thanks José.
Lisa09.09.2014
My very first yin class and now I really do know what I have been missing. You have an amazing soothing voice and your explanations of the different sensations we may feel are tremendous. Thank you.
Annemarieke07.08.2014
Another wonderful class, thank you Jose. I love yin yoga and your lessons are so calming. I manage to stay in saddle pose a lot longer than I normally can, as I find this hard, just because you encourage me in such a calm way. Wonderful teacher. Namaste.
Jane01.08.2014
Thank you Jose for encouraging me to overcome the fear felt with some of the sensations these poses brought and relax enough to deepen and feel this change to bliss. Wonderful teaching.x
Maria06.09.2014
Very strong sensations, thank you!
David08.09.2014
Great class to finish the week on, thank you
Keli08.09.2014
Thank-you, that was a wonderful class! The cues for where sensations should (and shouldn't) be felt were especially helpful! I don't know if I have ever felt my hips as open as they are now :)
Ann30.07.2014
Your classes are great, José. Perfect to balance with my sports (running and swimming). They relax mind and body. The focus on the breathing is just wonderful. I'm a big fan. Thanks for sharing.
Catie04.09.2014
Thank you for this calming and releasing practice, José. You do have a lovely guiding style. I will do this one again!
Naja01.08.2014
*without doubt
Naja01.08.2014
Thank you! I had the exact same experience as Francesca - this is without one of the best classes I have ever experienced. Oh la la!
Paola05.09.2014
Really strong class, one of the hardest I encountered. I will try it again, because it was too hard for me and I couldn't do all the poses.
José09.09.2014
To Esther, it can happen you might have compression in the opposite hip. Due to that you can't go any deeper and have no stretch in the opposite hip flexor. Als you have probably too much weight in your hands. Try placing blocks under your elbow and rest on them instead of on your hands. Try to move away from the compression in the opposite hip by playing with the position of the bent leg. If that doesn't work, come with up with your hands on your bent knee. This way the stretch might be more intense, but probably no compression in the groin of the bend leg. I hope this helps.

Thank you all for your motivating replies.
Rinske30.10.2014
José, this was absolutely wonderful; deeply freeing and restorative. I MIGHT have cursed you a little during dragon pose:), but was able to move through and felt it changing into peace which was a really moving dynamic. Top notch class, thank you.
Noreen21.07.2014
This class was so emotionally hard for me. The focus on breath was so useful in overcoming my feelings of impatience, frustration and ...not exactly pain, but something was changing, especially in the lower back and hip poses. Thank you. I feel really, really spacious and calm and light as air now that the class is over.
Natalia04.09.2014
I have to say I just liked this one because it made me cry and really feel the struggle in my mind in a couple of asanas. So revealing!
Marjetta01.08.2014
I'm starting to discover the 'wonderful world of Yin yoga' more and more. Your classes are a great help with that. Thank you.
Esther04.09.2014
Great class, thank you! I found dragon pose challenging as for me there were more sensations in the opposite hip each time to the one the stretch was supposed to be aimed towards, as well as a lot of tension in both shoulders. All these sensations made it quite difficult to breathe into the specific places. Do you have any tips? :)
Lorna06.09.2014
Loved it, thank you.
Ingvill13.09.2014

This one was an AWESOME CLASS! Can you figure one about just feet and hands? I mean something for runners like myself but at the same time I do lift weights and this class was just so good for my hands and wrist I feel really good, too many down dogs gets me too XD! Anyways I hope you can come up with a class that is just focused in runners yin style!! !Gracias!
Kim21.10.2014
Jose, I am new to Yin Yoga and am very much enjoying your classes. I appreciate the quiet, meditative quality of the class. The poses are hard but I can really feel how they are opening not only my body but my awareness as well. Thank you!
Riina21.10.2014
Thank you, this was a wonderful class! I'm so happy you are in Ekhart Yoga :)
Stephanie16.01.2016
do you have any reccomendation as what to do if you dont have all of the props...bolster, pillow etc? thanks!
José26.01.2016
Dear Stephanie, you can use anything you have at home; a pillow you use on your couch or in your bed, you can us blankets. Instead of blocks you can use a chair or a low table. I hope this helps.
Michella14.01.2016
Wauw amazing. This was my first yin yoga ever and i think i'm hooked. Some of the poses were difficult at some point but you encouraging to breath through it definetly helped. I don't quite know how to explain it, but i feel lighter, and somehow it seems i start to feel enery, that i haven't felt in a long time flowing through my body. As if some blockade got punched away by the yin yoga.
Lindsay31.03.2016
favorite class so far! relaxes and stretches all the places tight from sitting at a desk all day. Loved how hands and feet were incorporated.
28.12.2017
Great relieving class though I could not hold many postures for as long as you did. Will keep trying ;) thank you José.
