Dear Andrew, Thanks for demonstrating :) I am doing neti once in a while mostly in winter times and like the feeling afterwards. Then I got insecure about it because I heared that the salt can dry out your nasal mucous membrane. Is that true?
Andrew08.11.2014
I used to practice neti every day, but now 2 or 3 times a week, just because that seems right for me. I know of people who practice it twice a day.
Andrew07.11.2014
Thanks Maria, I found that too for asthma. Nicole, the solution should be about the same as your bodies fluid, so it doesn't dry out the mucous membranes.

Thank you Andrew for the demonstration. I used to have frequent sinus infections but when I started to use the neti pot several years ago on a daily basis, the infections lessened considerably. It was good to have the review!

Hi Andrew, just wanted to check. I tried this practice a few days ago on Saturday.... Cud get it properly after a few rounds. The initial rounds it went into my throat. But I have developed a severe throat infection cold and fever.... I have not had for several years . Is it because I tried it for the 1st time ? I felt great no doubt but wanted to clarify.
Andrew25.02.2015
Hi Gowri, without using neti, what's in the nose drains naturally to the throat, so the sore throat and cold was a coincidence.

I've started neti a week ago and it really feels great. To make sure no water goes through my mouth I go "aaaaaaaaah" while water is flowing. I'm not doing oil pulling everyday, but which one should come first ? Is it OK to use neti everyday without being too agressive to the nose cavity ? Thank you for this video.

thanks Andrew! As a asmatic person neti pot really change my life!

Thanks Andrew! I've wondered about neti, but was intimidated by the process. Your tutorial was really down to earth and I think I will give it a try :)

I would like to know where to find the pot that you have. I do the netti quite often. Although I don't have high blood pressure,a lot of medications raise my blood pressure so much, I was told this was one of the best things for me. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thank you for the so detailed instructions Andrew. I would like to ask you a question. I have a metallic neti pot. There are more than ten years I possess it; should I change it? I don't know if salt, through time, causes gradual corruption of the metal, because of oxidation.
Andrew26.04.2016
Hi Dimitra, a friend of mine has had a metal pot for years and it is fine so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank you Andrew. Since watching this class a few weeks ago, I've maintained a daily neti cleansing. I've been experiencing an increased rate of cold infections, and feel the daily neti practice is helping to minimise infection. Watching this video gave me the confidence to have a go, and turns out I love it! Thanks you.
