A beautiful, calming meditation including breath work and a mudra. You can incorporate this meditation into your yoga practice during periods of stress. You can work your way up to 11 minutes and, if needed, practice it for 40 or even 90 days to get full results.
The music is from fellow EkhartYoga teacher David Lurey OM HRIM NAMAH SHIVAYA. You can find his music on Bandcamp

thank you so much . It is almost magic what happend to me after doing the 10 minutes of this breathing. Feeling refreshed and calm. feeling my body more and the subtleness of my body. i was a little bit afraid that focusing on my third eye would enhance the stress in my head. But it didnt. can you tell a little bit more about this technique ? how it works? thnx, x Sandra

Hi Sandra, that is great to hear. Rolling the eyes up is a drishti, a special gaze that will help to activate and bring awareness to the third eye. The third eye is one of the 7 chakras in the 7 chakra system. And is important for increasing intuition and inner vision. Hope this answers your question. All my love! Marlene

Felt the same Sandra :-) Would be interested to hear a little more about meditation and third eye - something I haven't focussed on before and was quite profound....

Dear Marlene, thank you for this beautiful meditation. It is quite strong and was just in time for me. though I was moving in a kind of dance during it because of music. Any music that has at least a bit of rhythm makes me want to move. I usually put just some sounds of flute or nature for my meditation. But this music might be great for the first stage of my labor (I'm in the 9th month of pregnancy), could you, please, give me the name of this song. I'll search for more music in this style: soft but rhythmical.

Nothing like dancing yourself into labour :) The music is from my amazing fellow Ekhart Yoga teacher David Lurey OM HRIM NAMAH SHIVAYA and you can find his music here: https://davidlurey.bandcamp.com/track/om-hrim-namah-shivaya All my love and happy, easy and blessed labour!

I lay down in savasana after this practice and felt so relaxed. Can I ask what this mudra signifies Marlene? I’ve never encountered it before but it felt powerful. Thank you
Marlene30.10.2017
Hi Jo! That is so nice to hear. This is a mudra that balances the 1rst and the 5th bodies. In Kundalini yoga there is a 10 body system. The first body is the Soul body, and corresponds to your infinite self. The fifth body is the Physical Body, and so it brings brings these 2 bodies in tune. Connecting the divine and infinite self, with your physical house of your soul on the material plane. <3 Marlene
