Thank you Irina for this inspiration of a light dinner. I always have a hard time thinking about what to cook for dinner, since usually I already cook for lunch. I also found it really funny that you tasted the dressing with your finger, like we all do at home :-)

Hi Michele, Always difficult to give personal advise based on so little information... So here's a general answer. First, I think you meant to say that you need to balance Vata (not Kapha) now that winter is coming...? If Vata is imbalanced, then address that first. In that case, try the Vata balancing porridge: http://www.ekhartyoga.com/blog/sweet-potato-porridge-for-vata-dosha If you don't have any imbalance whatsoever but have a Pitta / Kapha constitution and your day feels balanced as well, then yes, go for the salad! You can add a warm soup on the side if you feel like it. Hope this helps! Love - Irina

Thank you, Andrea! Glad you like the recipe. I can imagine you sometimes feel 'stuck' thinking of what to cook for dinner... I love salads and quick soups (there's a new recipe coming up soon, it's a lovely grounding soup...) as they're light and easy to make. Now that Winter is coming, I need to balance my Kapha but I am Pitta/Kapha in general. Is this salad good to eat now?
