Thank you so much Patricia, I am so happy that you connect to the practice. <3
Michael14.08.2016
Merlene, I've really enjoyed this practice to heal my 3rd chakra. Already finding renewed confidence and authority, as a result. Thank you.
Michael12.08.2016
Thank you for introducing this practice to me. I have a surgical scar over the 3rd chakra and for many years I had a very weak chakra, always prone to feel deep anxiety, slights and other emotions. I did this practice tonite on such a night, but without the sensations that typically overtake this chakra. I look forward to making the chakra stronger. Blessings.
Marlene08.10.2016
Hi Michael, I have seemed have missed your comment. And I sorry to reply so late. I hope this set has worked in strengthening this enegry center for you. Let me know how you got on. ❤️
Jelena06.03.2016
Thank you Marlene for this lovely class. This was the first time that I practice with you and I really enjoyed your way of teaching, your calm voice and your clear instructions. I really enjoyed every second of fire and burning :) So now I'm up to another class with you.. and I sure I'm gonna love it just as much as I did this one.. All my love <3 Namaste

Hi Marlene, I meant when things are intense, it's hard to remember that letting go enables the insights to emerge ....Thanks, Will
Marlene06.04.2016
Ah yes, I understand Will. See if you can create space in that moment. Allow whatever happens to happen by simply trying to remember to relax the body and the breath. When we resist what happens we create tension and we can get very lost in the 'struggle'. <3 Marlene
22.03.2016
Thanks for a lovely, clear class. I'm feeling a tension/block/out-of-balance around my solar plexus and wondering, is it better to focus in on that, to keep doing this kind of practice for a while, or to do the other chakra practices too? I'm feeling also a slightly tension between seeing it as an inquiry (what is my body trying to tell me?) while wanting to release it (wanting the classes to release it). Thoughts welcome ....
26.03.2016
Thanks Marlene, that's really helpful. I have 'backed off' trying to resolve while still being aware, that's been helpful. At the same time I've been exploring with meditations. Being at peace with not knowing while also acknowledging seems to resonate for me - thanks for the reminder. It seems when I let go, that is often when insights seem to emerge, though I often forget that when things feel intense.
Marlene23.03.2016
Hi Will, thank you for sharing your experience. I would say experiment with this practice. Do it a couple of days in a row. See how you feel. If it is too intense, do a grounding practice and then do it 1 or 2 times per week say. See how that goes. There is no golden formula. But it's good to keep going, keep working on it. Important is to find the frequency that suits you and your body and energy system. On the inquiry, our desire to know sometimes makes us restless. Make peace with maybe never finding out. :) And then if you relax during these sets, you may gain some insights into the how and why. I really believe that sometimes our blocks/stagnation/tension is not always from this lifetime and in my own experience it does not always help you to have the info. Ask yourself in meditation is there anything else I need to know/learn from this? Also vibrate within that it is now safe to let go. This is a huge statement that can really help you. Let me know how you get on! Namaste! Marlene
Marlene28.03.2016
Hi Will, Great to hear that my suggestions resonates with you. Do you mean that the insights fade because of intense feelings, or is it that the feelings are so intense you forget that you had good insight? <3 Marlene
Helena31.03.2016
Hi Marlene, thank you again! My acupuncturist is giving me treatment for imbalances in the liver, and the blog text for this class sounded very much the same :) The pulse got better but it's not perfectly centered. More practice, I think :)
Marlene31.03.2016
Yes :) doing this class on a regular basis will help you achieve more balance. See how it goes if you have done it a couple of times. Or if you want to work on it more intensively, you can repeat the class 2/3 times per week for a period until you feel it has done its job. Love, Marlene
Esther11.03.2016
Really beautiful class, love the integration of breath variations, bhandas, mudra, chant and asanas. Lovely, kind yet clear teaching - thank you Marlene.
Marlene11.03.2016
Thank you Esther <3
Gesine22.03.2016
Hi Marlene, I always enjoy Kundalini classes because the movements are so varying. My pulse was at first so weak that I only could experience it when lying on my back without breathing and it was somewhere around the umbilicus. After the breath of fire-practice on our back, my pulse was much stronger. The mudra was also very powerful, I feel more strength inside:) I am also looking forward to the 5th chakra practice because of a weak thyroid and difficulty to express my true self. Thank you very much, Marlene!
Marlene23.03.2016
Good to hear that you feel more strength now Gesine! That's what's the class is all about. We are working on the next chakra's so throat is definitely coming up! <3 Marlene
Jocelyne09.03.2016
Thank you Marlene for yet another great class; I really enjoy your teaching. I did not feel a noticeable difference in the pulse at the end, although I could feel the good it did my body very noticeably ;-)) A question : when we do the arms swing thing, you say the breathing is like the heat breathing; does that mean that we do the movement with the stomach too? pulling up strongly the stomach when we breath out...Because I could do the fast breathing but could not really pump the stomach while doing the arms swing (I actually look pretty funny I'm sure trying to do all this and being completly out of synch!!! ;-)) I felt like a child not having his body parts all coordonate... If we're supposed to do the pumping, I' m guessing it will come with practice ;-) Thank you! Namaste
Jocelyne10.03.2016
Thank you for your answer Marlene; Yes I guess I did end up doing it with dog breath since I could not synch the breath of fire... I will repeat, more slowly, until it works ;-) and I will check out your video on breathing technique, I have not seen it yet. Thank you ;-) Love
Marlene10.03.2016
Hi Jocelyne! Thank you for your kind words. Yes the breathing is like breath of fire, and I know it is a challenge coordinating with the arm swings. But please don't feel you have to breath as fast as me. Take you time, and maybe check out my video on breathing techniques once again, and maybe try to do it with dog breath a couple of times, before going to breath of fire again. And remember, it's more important to have control, than to go fast. ❤️ Marlene

Magdalena21.03.2016
Dear Marlene, I am a big fan of your classes from the beginning and now, that the series is almost complete, I've spent the last couple of days working me from one chakra to the next one and - boy - does that feel amazing :) As a person with an imbalanced thyroid and who sometimes feels at a loss of words, I am really looking forward to finding a class about the throat chakra here one day. In the meantime I will keep indulging in all the wonderful sets you've provided us so far. I am truely grateful for your presence on Ekhart Yoga (and obviously still unter the influence of this practice - haha!) Hugs and love, Magdalena
Marlene21.03.2016
Dear Magdalena, I deeply thank you. That is great to hear! We are working on classes for every chakra, so throat will be coming up soon. To really find great effect of the set, I would advise you to do it 3 -7 (depending on how intense you experience it) times a week for a period of a month or two. Sending love! Marlene
Anita07.03.2016
Hi Marlene You are an amazing teacher! Love your classes. This sequence is excellent for my digestive system and I feel the effects immediately after the class. Thank you . Love Anita

Ulrike07.03.2016
Wonderful practice, wonderful teacher. I could not feel my pulse at all at the beginning and felt it right in the middle and very strong after the practice. This is a great way to start a day. Thank you Marlene, I look forward to practicing with you.
Marlene07.03.2016
Yeah! See how quickly it goes? Sending a lot of love!
Natalie19.04.2016
Thank you for this class Marlene! It's the first of yours that I've taken, & it was incredibly powerful. Particularly while doing the 'ram' mantra, I could feel so much heat around the chakra on my spine. I've been focusing on the third chakra the last couple of weeks, & this was definitely the strongest sensation I've had with any class focusing on this area. I'll definitely be coming back to this. I really enjoyed your style of teaching. Thanks agai, & I look forward to exploring more of your other classes xo
Marlene24.04.2016
Hi Natalie, I am happy to hear that you are receiving the benefits of the class. Let me know how you are getting on. <3

Amanda20.03.2016
Great Class! I can really feel the energy flowing through me. I did struggle with the arm circles as my co-ordination isn't very good. Could you suggest a modification for this? Thanks x
Marlene21.03.2016
If you prefer you can just swing your arms from left to right Amanda. But I would actually encourage you to keep trying. My coordination used to be also really off. But by keep doing these things it does improve a great deal. Let me know how it goes :) X

Ilse06.03.2016
This was really great to do today. The movements reminds me strongly of a tantra workshop I did some years ago, it was called Kadeisha. They are intense and the works goes really deep. Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with us.xxx
Marlene07.03.2016
Yes, powerful stuff :) Kundalini and Tantra practices sometimes resemble each other. Happy you enjoyed it! <3

Eva24.04.2016
Hi Marlene, thanks for yet another great class! Your classes are so varied and interesting! I guess I need this one, in the beginniong I couldn't feel any pulse at all around my navel, and at the end of the practice there was a weak pulse, but still not much... I have two questions. One is about the mudra. You said women normally naturally want to place their left thumb over the right. But for me it feels much more natural to place right over left, like we did in the mudra. Does that mean that I am masculine? Or can it have to do with being lefthanded? My other question is about how to use your practices. Would it be a good idea to do for example a different chakra every day, so monday the root, tuesday the sacral etc.? Or do you sort of try to feel which chakra needs it most? And I am curious about your personal practice... how do you keep your chakra's balanced, how often do you do the practices for the diffenret chakra's? (sorry if I am being too curious)
Marlene24.04.2016
Hi Eva, so nice to hear you are connecting to the practice. It seems that this a class for you to do a little more often :) To your questions, I am not sure why you feel natural to place right over left, both options are possible. Maybe your masculine side is dominant. Sometimes in life we develop certain skills / a certain side more out of necessity, and then under develop the other side. But being left handed good also be a reason. But I would invite you to do the mudra left over right and pay attention what it does for you. To your other question, if you know you are in tune with and sensitive to your body, then my first suggestion would be to go with what you need today or what you feel you need to work on most. Balance can only be created in imbalance through asymmetry. So to answer your question, I use my own practice very intuitively, according to the needs of my body and energies. Sometimes I need more energy coming in, sometimes I need more energy going out. Sometimes, when I am very busy, I need to calm the fires. Other times, I need more fire. Both create more energy. But knowing yourself, your body will give you an idea of what you need to do to create that happy balance. Let me know how you get on. <3

I'm going up the chakras with these classes, every other day. It's really helping me feel less fatigued & more focused! I felt my pulse in my belly button before I started this class, but very faint. When I felt it again, it was much stronger! Of course, kapalabhati whilst excercising the core made my pulse stronger everywhere else too :) That was hard, but I'm going to repeat that every so often to help out my core! Thank you for another lovely class.
Marlene25.10.2016
Good to hear you are doing the series. Love to hear how you are getting on as you go through them. <3

Nicole19.04.2016
What a beautiful and powerful practice. The difference between the naval pulse at the beginning and towards the end was truly amazing. I will return to this class many times per week, as I know I need it. Thank you, Marlene!
Marlene24.04.2016
Yay! Like magic, right? Sending much love to you! <3
Charlotte15.11.2016
I am in the middle of a sugar detox at the moment and feeling rough! This class really really hit the spot. Thank you Marlene. I confess I didn't find my pulse ever but I am trying not to stress about it! I also find it really hard to find breath of fire lying down with my legs in the air. So I practised with them on the floor for now but I will return to this again and again I know. Thank you.
Charlotte14.02.2017
Just returned to it Marlene. Some things have got easier- like breath of fire with the arm swings. I am avoiding the lying down legs raised breath of fire still as I am having a lot of lower back pain. And I still can't find my pulse- despite the fact I am definitely alive! I think this is an area of my body that I avoid- so still more work needed!
Marlene02.02.2017
<3 How are you getting on Charlotte? Still doing this practice?
Kira07.04.2017
Wow, this was cool! In the beginning I didn't find a pulse in the pointed area, and in the end I felt it so clear even without putting the fingers! Thank you! I really enjoyed this session!
