Improve your Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) with the help of the wall, chair and blocks, a practice that you'll want to come back to if you are struggling with this pose. We will approach Adho Mukha Svanasana giving the body a lot of space and taking the weight out of the shoulders and hands, then progressively making our way towards the full pose.

Thank you, Adela, this class was great - and a bit of a revelation! - on how to make space in the upper body and shoulders in downward facing dog. When it comes to straightening and firming the legs, though, I find that the backs of my legs are so tight, I can barely straighten them at all. Can you recommend a class to help with this?

Hi Emma, thank you for your feedback and question. Doing Supta Padangustasana can help to elongate the back of the legs, however, I would recommend you to maybe just bend your knees as much as you need to in downward facing dog and go through some classes with standing poses in them..
